The room was silent, something you had grown used to, having visited the extremely busy idols’ dorms frequently enough to not be surprised by now. Nothing really interested you on the TV; the dramas you usually binge-watched were replays of old episodes you’d already seen several times, and the documentaries that usually interested you just weren’t hitting the spot for some reason.
So you sat on their spacious sofa, well, more like laid on it, your back much more happy that way, and simply scrolled on your phone. A few short videos here -after having watched all recent videos of the content creators you subscribed to-, a few minutes of scrolling on your news feeds on several apps there.
The flow of time kept slipping from your grasp without your notice, as if you were trying to capture sand within your bare fingers.
A ringing sound broke you out of your mindless scrolling, bored eyes looking at the top of your phone to see someone calling: it was your mom. Not wanting to lose your head for not answering, but also wondering why she had called so suddenly, you immediately picked up, device closely pressed to your ear in search of an answer.
Oh, how you wished your hearing was wrong, that this call was just a hallucination your bored mind made up to morbidly entertain itself.
Not a single muscle in your body moved, the device still clutched in your grasp, knuckles no doubt turning white from the force, even after the call had ended long ago. The words you had heard echoed in your mind cruelly, not showing any signs of leaving.
And yet, you felt weirdly calm. No, empty would be a more fitting word.
Whereas you should have been crying, sobbing, screaming in despair or anger, you did nothing. Not even a gasp of surprise left through your open lips, only the guilt of not feeling any of those settled over you, like a chain of sin grasping onto your skin.
You felt broken, as if you weren’t functioning properly, something that only added to the weight, keeping you down.
Steps could be heard from nearby, their goal obviously you, based on their only strengthening volume. Were the boys back? But when? You didn’t hear them outside the door, something that should have been nearly impossible, with how loud they usually got, playing around with each other with no restraint.
Your name was called quietly from above, making you turn your head and look at Chan, his gaze immediately turning soft, as if he had sensed what had happened.
Not even a second later he was by your side, gently asking you to sit up, only to take you into his warm embrace and lock you in place, arms not intending to move anytime soon. You instinctually melted into his hold, his chest holding you up safely, something you trusted him to do after knowing him for so long.
“What happened?” - he asked, voice so sweet you nearly shattered from it.
You knew he only meant good, of course he did, he was Chan after all. Even so, no words left your lips, your eyes remaining dry, chest feeling empty and void of anything, only the guilt having long nestled itself in there. So, you could only shake your head and shrug your shoulders, turning around in his arms and burying your head into his neck.
Hiding away seemed to be your best choice at that moment, something you were correct about as another person joined you two, his warm hand gliding across the expanse of your back reassuringly.
You could feel Chan shaking his head above you, a few strands of your hair gently moving around from the movement.
“Maybe our yeobo here had gotten tired from waiting for us all day long, hm?” - it was Hyunjin, voice impossibly close to you.
Not wanting to cause them needless worry, you nodded into the older’s skin, a little chuckle leaving them at that, calling you cute. Still, Chan’s hold on you tightened, as if he somehow knew you were lying.
A question popped into your head, one that would hopefully distract them from trying to interrogate you and dig down to the core of the problem.
“Where are the others?” - you asked, proud of how you sounded like your usual self. “Mh, well, Changbin and Sungie are working on their duo song, but they should be wrapping up pretty soon, since they had been really excited about our planned movie night.” - Chan answered, his chest rumbling soothingly. “Minho hyung is helping Lixie with a tricky move, although they should arrive any minute now, since they sent me back saying they were about to be done and I wasn’t needed there anymore. Minnie and Innie had actually come up with us, they just went to their dorm to get ready for staying the night here. They didn’t want to hear you whining about sweaty hugs again.” - Hyunjin chuckled, making me shoot out of my hiding place with a force. “That’s gross, of course I wouldn’t want that! You guys keep whining about it at practice too, you hypocrite!”
Chan only laughed at the dramatically gross expressions Hyunjin kept making from the mere thought of hugging while being at practice, making you laugh along with him. You had temporarily forgotten about that phone call, your worries erased along with most of your guilt, only laughter and joy remaining in its place, something that had always been the case whenever you hung out with these men.
One by one the others arrived as well, the place turning lively and loud, but loud in the good way, the way that made everything feel cosy and like home. You relished in it, soaking in it like a cat laying in a sunny spot, your dark fur turning warm to the touch.
Not a single thought about that phone call crossed your mind, or about how you were supposed to feel, the scene of Felix being smothered by Changbin’s much more muscular form way funnier in your eyes. Minho magically whipped out a tissue from somewhere, turning to a scared Hyunjin with a threatening smirk. Jisung laughed at him, only to be the next to be threatened, forcing the quokka and the weasel to run away together. Those who remained seated calmly with you loudly enjoyed it, Seungmin’s laughter being the loudest in your ears since he had decided to steal you away for a cuddle session, and who were you to say no to that.
Then, your phone rang once again, stealing everyone’s attention, yours included.
It was your sibling, making dread run down your spine, knowing fully well they would never call unless it was something serious, the two of you usually only chatting, much more comfortable with that.
No one uttered a word around you as you sat there, your form unbeknownst to you turning more and more rigid with every word uttered through the device in your hands. Unseeing eyes stared ahead, air stuck in the organ they should have left long ago, refusing to budge even an inch.
After some time, a few minutes or half an hour, you had no idea, the call ended, much like the previous one. Curious pairs of eyes were set on you, although most of them were paired with creased foreheads and furrowed eyebrows, worry clearly written on their faces.
The silent question was eventually asked by Felix, the bravest one to break the heavy atmosphere.
Words spilled out of your mouth eventually, uncertain and shaky, much too quiet for the boys’ comfort. They formed dreadful sentences, ones that talked about how not only your sibling’s pet you adored so much needed a surgery, or in the worst case scenario, that little fluff ball wasn’t even saveable and needed to be put down. By the time you had reached the part about your beloved parent, who was diagnosed with cancer and similarly to the little pet was in need of a surgery, your lips were wobbly, fat tears rolling down your eyes and carving their way down your cheeks, falling into your clothing and making it uncomfortably cling to your skin.
Everything broke inside you, all those feelings you felt like you needed to feel hours ago now rampaging inside your poor body, destroying it from the inside.
Nothing felt fair, as if the universe specifically had chosen you and your family to suffer with the way things had been going lately, these two horrible news only adding to it considerably.
“Hey, baby, can you listen to my voice? Let it all out, just breathe with me, mkay?” - Chan’s deep whisper reached your ears, his strong arms wrapped around you once again, replacing his younger member’s gentle hold.
His presence merely caused the dams to break more, something you thought was impossible, yet it happened all the same. Through extremely blurry vision you spotted the one you sought after, arms raised and hands making grabby motions towards his direction. That was all he needed to understand your silent request, the quokka settling into your hold and hugging you from the front, not caring how you buried your head into the crook of his neck and dirtied his clothes with snot and tears, or even the dangerously tight hold you had on his clothes, the fabric on the verge of tearing apart.
He merely held you as you sobbed there, joining Chan’s little hums, the two knowing how much it usually calmed you down.
And as you were sandwiched between the two, letting your sorrows out, the others gathered around and held onto any body part they could, even if it was only your pinky. They all held onto you tightly with no exception, Hyunjin and Changbin wiping your tears away gently once you had lifted your head up, even though their faces were just as wet, empathy running through them with a vicious force.
The others weren’t better off, the aussies and Jisung openly crying along with you, while Innie sat besides you with teary eyes. And while Minho and Seungmin weren’t on the verge of tears, you knew that didn’t mean they didn’t care. No, of course not, otherwise the glass of water and your favourite snack that were pressed into your hands gently, yet firmly, would mean nothing.
Even after hours of just staying there, of just listening to them gently talk to you, you remained silently in your place, the warmth that enveloped you from all directions much too precious and comfortable to pass up.
Maybe you would be fine, you kept telling yourself, the little voice of hope agreeing inside your muddled mind.

Getou Suguru x Reader
Prompt: “Ladies and gentlemen, will you please stand? // With every guitar string scar on my hand // I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover” - Lover (Taylor Swift)
Words Count:1.3k
Tags: Suguru x reader, AU, Fluff, pure fluff and good time.
Rambling: Back with my Swiftie agenda. This fic wrote itself ngl, I planned something completely different idk how I got here. Life has been putting me through the meat grinder so I’m writing fluffy fanfic to cope.
“We need to take down the Christmas light.” Suguru brought up while you two are washing the dishes after dinner.
“Yeah we should. Or… we can keep leaving it up for another month.”
Suguru pauses and gives you a pointed look, “Hun, it’s already April.”
“Exactly. We already procrastinated to this point, might as well procrastinate all the way. If we never take it down, we won’t have to put it back up in December.” you pointed out.
You just find it’s useless to take it down. Not like you guys have it plugged in so you're not wasting any electricity, they're just there. There is no reason to waste time to put it up and take it back down every year.
“You’re unbelievable” Suguru chuckled
“Thank you, my genius knows no bounds.” you joke as you hand him another plate to dry.
He leans down to kiss your temple, “You’re lucky I love you.”
“I know,” you said smugly “I love you too.”
After you finish with the dishes, the two of you decide to watch a movie before going to bed. You cuddle up to Suguru. You enjoy this little routine you two have. You both wake up an hour earlier than you need to cuddle with each other, you eat breakfast together before going to work. If possible, you two would have lunch together. Suguru would cook dinner, you would wash the dishes and he insisted on drying them. Then you would spend the night doing things together or doing your own things while being in the same room. It’s a mundane and boring cycle, but to you, it’s anything but boring.
You always thought that love is all about butterflies in your stomach, heart racing, excitement, going on dates to fancy restaurants. And yes, those are always fun and lovely. But if you really have to choose, you would choose this mundane life with Suguru over everything.
“Would you like to go on a date with me this weekend?” Suguru asked you out of the blue.
“Do you even need to ask?”
“It’s a polite thing to do.”
“Well then, Yes. I would love to go on a date with you.” you said with a small laugh. It’s cute, you have spent 3 winters with Suguru, but somehow he always manages to make you feel like you've been with each other for 20 seconds and 20 years.
“Where are we going?” you asked
“It’s a surprise, just dress pretty.” Suguru replied softly, placing a kiss on your hair.
You hum softly at his response, “How pretty would you like me to be?”
He takes his eyes off the TV and looks down at you. Feeling his gaze, you tilt your head back to look into his eyes.
“As pretty as you are right now.” Suguru muttered before capturing your lips.
////
You decide to wear a white tube dress you bought a week ago. You love the way this dress looks on you, it shows off all your curves in all the right places. But you’re not the only one that enjoys the way this dress looks on you.
“It looks lovely on you, but I think it’ll look lovelier when I take it off you.” Suguru whispers in your ears from behind. He has his hands wrapping around your waist, his face buried in the crook of your neck, breathing you in.
“I bought it so you can take it off.” you hinted, turning your head to kiss the top of his hair. You can feel his smile against your skin.
Suguru reserved a nice Italian restaurant downtown. You’re seated near the window. The dimmed light makes Suguru look extra alluring. The way the light cast over his form brings out all of his best features.
You watch as Suguru pours himself his second glass of wine. The foods you order haven’t come out yet and Suguru is already on his second glass. He’s also oddly quiet, usually he would flirt with you as if it’s a first date. You also noticed that he has his left hand in his pocket this entire time.
“What’s wrong?” you questioned, “You seem anxious. Did something happen at work?”
“Nothing, Love. you’re just looking so gorgeous it’s making me a little bit nervous.” He replied. You hum in response, deciding not to press it further. He’ll tell you when he’s ready.
////
After dinner, Suguru drove you to what looked like an empty parking lot.
“Where are we?”
“You’ll see.”
“This place is both dark and empty, and if movies have taught me anything, this place is a good place to murder someone.” you point out.
“I can’t with you,” he shook his head, laughing a little “come on.”
Suguru opens the door for you and offers you his hand. You take his hand and step out of the car. Your hands intertwine with his as he leads you to this flight of stairs you can't seem to see the end of.
“You’re making me climb these stairs, in this dress?” you lamented.
“I’ll carry you when you get tired, it’s shorter than you think.” Suguru compromised.
“Ugh, you’re lucky I love you.”
“I know.” he acknowledged with pride.
Suguru was right, it’s not as bad as you thought it would be, though it did take the wind out of you. When you reach the top, you can’t help but stop and stare in awe. At the top of the stairs is a small shrine with a few cement benches around the vicinity. This place is at the perfect height where you can overlook the town and see the wide sky at the same time.
“You like it?”
“Yeah, it’s gorgeous” you breathe out, not taking your eyes off the sky.
You have never seen so many stars in the sky before. They're glistening and shimmering, as if they are beckoning you toward them. You were so mesmerized you didn't notice how Suguru is kneeling behind you on one knee. A small box in his hand.
“My love?” Suguru called out to you.
“Yes?” you answer, finally taking your eyes off the sky. You turn around to face Suguru, gasping when you see the position he’s in. Tears welling up in your eyes.
“I have been practicing this for weeks, I have about 100 thrown out speeches. No words were strong enough to describe my love for you. Even the word “love” itself falls short. But even if I don’t have the right words, I do know what I want to spend the rest of my days waking up next to you, cooking dinner for you, and falling asleep with you. So will you grant me the greatest honor, of being by your side for the rest of this life and beyond?” he pleaded, voice shaking with every word.
You were crying at this point. Full on sobbing. You can barely see through the tears. You can’t find your voice either. So you nod. Furiously. Before dropping down to his level and throwing yourself around him.
“Hey now, don’t make me drop the ring.” he teased.
You pull away from him, still sobbing. He wipes your tears away with his thumb before taking your hand and slides the ring on you. You can see the reflection of your lips in his eyes.
To Suguru, your lips look like a question begging for an answer, so he answered. He kisses you hungrily, full of relief and sheer joy. He cupped your jaws to deepen the kiss. His lips move against yours like a well practiced tango. He can’t wait to throw out another 100 speeches as he writes his vow to you. You kiss him back desperately, trying to convey him all your joy and show him how much you love him. Because he was right, the word “love” does fall short. You can taste the wine he's been sipping on during dinner. His liquid courage, you realized. It’s almost unbelievable how much you love this man. You want to go wherever he goes. You want to be with him forever. You would gladly take this magnetic force of a man to be your lover, in this life and the next.

Wait. I wanna hear you Will Solace headcanons
Okay so be prepared for these to be wildly inaccurate because all I know about this guy is from fannon. Most of this is also me projecting.
1. Bass player. Yes that is 100% biased, as I am also a bass player (and I hc myself as a legacy of Apollo). No I have no basis on this claim other than Basses Are Just Cooler Than Guitars.
2. OR he’s the guitarist, Nico is the Bassist.
3. If there is a piano in the house, he WILL play it. For hours. Gods forbid you take him anywhere with a public piano.
4. Hates learning Music Theory, learns by ear and by feel. As an Apollo kid, he can instantly read both tab and sheet music, but uses neither.
5. Also has perfect pitch (can name any chord just by hearing it).
6. He’s a Star Wars fan, right? Can talk for hours about John William’s use of Lydian Mode in the score to convey a sense of majesty, and don’t get him started on the expert use of Vagnarian methods of leitmotif-
7. Okay, so maybe he knows a little music theory.
8. Writes terrible poetry that’s low-key kinda good.
9. Founder of the chb LGBTQ+ club.
10. Bisexual flags everywhere. He always at least one pink, purple, and blue pen on hand, doodles exclusively in those colours. His doctors notes are colour-coded pink, purple, blue.
11. BIG supporter of Trans rights- is qualified to help with Gender Affirming Healthcare for anyone at Camp.
12. Apollo is also god of prophecies. Will has the power of foresight ONLY for TV show/Film/Book endings. He is able to predict how a character would die with incredible accuracy after one episode. Morbid as fuck, so naturally Nico thinks it’s the hottest thing ever.
13. SWIFTIE!!!!!
14. Friendship bracelets. VERY swiftie-coded, he has a million of them on both arms, cutting off his circulation.
15. Paints Nico’s nails. Nico insists on all black, but gave in and let Will paint ONE nail fun colours, bedazzled with charms and shit. As long as it’s the middle finger.
Now, specifically my Will x Leo (Platonic) headcannons:
16. Will and Leo become very close at camp simply because Leo has absolutely zero sense of self-preservation. Like that kid does not value his life in any way at all, and so always ends up doing the most reckless shit ever, and, naturally, ends up spending a lot of time in the infirmary, usually only after being dragged there by Jason (“What’s the big deal? It’s just a broken arm. I’m ambidextrous! Besides, I’ve survived worse.”)
17. Will loves him because he’s never there longer than he has to be.
18. Except sometimes he does have to force Leo back into bed while Leo’s yelling loudly about how he needs to get back to his work, the Argo II won’t build itself, and to let go of him or he’ll burn you.
19. Will makes him wear enchanted plasters (band aids) that he can’t take off without doctor’s permission, to stop him absent-mindedly picking at old scabs and bits of skin. He also keeps fidget toys and stress balls to give to his patients. Leo has stolen ALL of them.
20. Like seriously, it is a problem. Leo has had to make them a whole bunch more fidgets because he’s taken and then overworked them until they all broke.
21. Both their southern accents come out more when they talk to each other. If a conversation goes on too long, they evolve into using so much fast-paced Texan slang that no-one else can understand them- it’s practically its own language.
22. BOTH SWIFTIES!!!!!
23. Leo helps out in the infirmary a lot- he’s useful if you need to sterilise equipment or cauterise any wounds.
24. It works sort of like an exchange of favours, where Leo also calls on Will anytime he needs a human flashlight to work on a project.
25. Leo has a lot of scars from his rough childhood. Will is one of the few people (aside from Jason) who’s actually seen them all. They never talk about it, and, as his doctor, he’s sworn to secrecy, but some of them are really disturbing. It will never not shock him that demigods can get hurt by things in the mortal world.
26. Leo makes sure Will uses accurate engineering jargon when writing Star Wars fanfiction.
27. Aside from Leo, Nico is the only one who reads his fanfiction
#Also the fact that him being a swiftie is hc. no 13 is NOT a coincidence#will solace headcanon#will solace pjo#will solace#will pjo#pjo will#solangelo#team leo#all da ladies luv leo#leo pjo#leovaldez#leo valdez#leo valdez hc#leo valdez headcanons#leo valdez pjo#pjo leo#percy jackson#pjo fandom#percy jackson fandom#pjo#pjo hoo toa#percy jackson and the heroes of olympus#percy jackson headcanon#pjo hoo toa tsats#pjo hoo#pjo asks#riordan universe#riordanverse#rick riordan#pjoverse

idk how to word this well but i feel like a lot of media critique is read as too personal to the author? obviously the intentions of the creator is important and the circumstances they made the thing in is important to discuss but i feel like that should be like. context. an explanation of why the story is like that but not a way to shut down further discussion.
like for example a lot of critique of tv shows is rebutted with "well the network cancelled it/forced it to keep going beyond its natural end/threw in a bunch of stuff to fuck up the creator's vision so it's not the writer's fault." and like. who was blaming the writers? yes maybe the network fucking with the creative team made the show turn out bad but that doesn't mean the show isn't still bad! it's just that now there's a conversation about network interference and how that affects the final product.
and i think outside factors that affect the story should be discussed!! i think networks are often unfair to its creatives hence why they're striking now. i think censorship is often limiting and prevents writers from telling the stories they want and (tumblr focuses more on this) having good representation. i think the identities of the creators and their beliefs and abilities have massive implications on a story and i think all of it should be discussed as the context the story was made in. i just don't think we should stop the discussion there. we still need to talk about what did and didn't work in the story itself.
when i say "the plot/rep/format of the story had X problem because it affected the story/audience interpretation of the story in X way" and someone says "well the writer's boss forced them to make the plot/rep/format like that," i think it's important to know as a part of media critique. but if they refuse to discuss my initial statement and just ends the discussion there because the problem wasn't caused by the writer, i don't find that interesting or useful to think about.
the only purpose of saying this and only this is to tell me that no, the creative team isn't at fault for this specific thing. i shouldn't get mad at these people that i will likely never meet whose only relationship i have with them is consuming their work. and like. you shouldn't harass people for writing bad stories regardless but if you need to be told that specific creators aren't to blame for a thing you disliked to stop you from doxxing them then that's one purpose of that.
but for that to be the only discussion point is ignoring the actual story. forgive me for assuming but i feel like most people would want to talk about the actual media when they do critique, not the personal/political drama involved in making the media. this is an online discussion about something published by strangers, not a writing workshop with your friends.
and i think talking about the problems that arise in a story because of outside influences can bring more awareness to those influences! if you say "the publisher told them to not make those two gay" and refuse to elaborate people just think "oh :( well i bet a hypothetical book where those two were gay would have been cool :)" if you say "these two have character arcs that would make more sense in X ways if they were gay but because the publisher told them not to make them gay it falls flat in X ways" people would think "holy shit! the publisher's prioritizing their homophobia over telling a good story! i hope next time they have a book like that they'll just let them be gay!"
pointing out exactly how outside influences hurt a story will show audiences not only how these factors fucked over the creatives career-wise, but also their own enjoyment of the story. most people won't affect the way creative teams of media they like are managed, but in the rare instance that they do, "it makes the story worse and therefore less profitable" is a better talking point than just "don't interfere with the writers because it'll make the writers sad."
basically if i point out a problem with a story and you reply "this problem was caused by X external factor," the next sentence should be "and here's how and why X external factor affected the story in these ways." it's shouldn't be "and you shouldn't blame the writers for it because it was someone else's fault." pointing out that capitalism and bigotry exists should not be the end of the conversation. you need to say something its effects on the story in tangible ways. otherwise the conversation has no value.
and i want to reiterate that i know a lot of limitations studios and publishers place on creators are frustrating to the creators themselves. it must feel horrible to see people be dissatisfied with your work, especially if some of the things they critique wasn't your fault. i cannot stress enough how much i dont think less of a creative team's skill unless i know for a fact that they chose to make something bad without any outside influences, which is incredibly rare. if i criticize something, i am not placing blame on anyone unless i outright say "i blame the writer/studio/publisher for this."
when i talk about my thoughts on a story, it's entirely for me. i'm not holding out hope that hollywood executives will see my opinions and tailor-make something for me so i'll stop complaining. i talk about and criticize media i like because it's fun. it's how i engage with media. i don't know the creators of 99% of the things i enjoy, and they will almost definitely never know me. while it's interesting to learn about the production process of a piece of media, even if i don't know who's "responsible" for a part of a story i don't like, i won't get angry at the creators for that. i don't connect the value of the writer to the value of the story in that way.
#shut up pandora#this is very long and very pretentious#media criticism#i guess#i guess its me criticizing how other people do media criticism#obviously do it in good faith#korra and asami couldnt smooch until the comics bc nickelodeon was homophobic#but the korrasami handhold was still monumental and should be applauded as such#but it wasnt able to have the full effect of the romantic happy ending bc of how subtle they had to make it. due to the homophobia#amphibias season 3a was slammed for not touching on the ramifications of all the traumatic stuff that happened in true colors#and this is because disney was such a prude that they wouldnt allow any deep exploration that mentions the girls getting hurt#but also because the writers massively overestimated how much they could get away with in a tv show of that rating#chalking things up to 'well it wasnt the writers fault so lets just take this subpar thing as it is and dont think about it too hard'#is never productive

SHORT Sonic animation review from bad to good
ADVENTURES OF SONIC THE HEDGEHOG
I put this as the lowest, as I really get bored watching this. It's obnoxious and not funny
The low budget animation doesn't help. Robotnik is anoyying. 4/10
Sonic Prime
Wasted potential, having a multiverse story and you use the most boring ideas that was already boring when archie comics did it in the 90s. Eggman gets shelved to make evil Tails the villain. He's badly written. Don't even talk about Sonic's writing...the 2010s was the start of Sonic being lame (and if you want to pretend Sonic was cool in Lost World or Forces, im already convinced you're lying to yourself to pretend Sonic Team never does anything inconsistent, please, they are flawed writers consider the weird retcons they make) but PrimeSonic is so far removed from gameSonic that it's laughable and then there was the ending...
It means nothing, making you think what was the point of the series? The fact the showrunners said it was canon, shows to me that Sonic team doesnt care about the lore as much as the fans do. I could ignore all of that if the show was good or enjoyable ...but its not. Its boring and so generic. But Hey Shadow is atleast cool here. 5/10
Sonic Underground
This is honesty not as well made as Prime. But unlike Prime I don't get too bored watching this. The off model scenes are hilarious and some of the songs like the opening are ..pretty nice? Badly written? Yes, this was made to promote the Sonic adventure games and nothing on the show has anything related to Sonic adventure. Who is Manic and Sonia???Sonic's siblings? Sonic is a prince?! Wait is that Athair from the archie comics?...and Where is Amy and Tails? Wth went wrong here? But you know what, it's so bad its almost good. Series got canceled without a proper ending too. But I honestly hope to see a detailed history about how the heck this series was made. Probs more intreseting then the series itself
5+/10
Sonic Boom
Based on the Sonic Boom spin off that bombed super hard and DIDNT add anything decent to the Sonic franchise. Except for this TV series.
The animation is nice, but god the opening is a blatant lie. It gives you the vibe that we get some action and adventures. But the show is just a Sonic comedy with friends. Sonic Is anoyying. Amy Rose is a different character all together but name and is changed into the smart mom type in the group. Why? Sticks character and comedy gag of being paranoid gets old fast. Arround this time, the Sonic games decided to make Knuckles into a dumb dumb. Boom decided to make that trait his only trait. Boom is partly responsible for me no longer liking Knuckles anymore lol. Eggman Is again just a joke character. The salvation this show has, is its stong comedy. It's jokes about media tropes, life and the Sonic fandom are spot on. The voice acting is pretty good too.👌 if you just treat it as a comedy/parody of Sonic you end up enjoying it more.
6/10
Sonic Satam
Ngl this show has not aged well. But for what it is, it's a fine show. Sally is an enjoyable character and her chemistry with Sonic is well done. The animation is pretty good for its time and low budget. The ost isn't bad either. Robotnik is a threat here! The message this show wants to tell is pretty good. The creators had good intentions. But there are other things that bother me. The French coyote is annoying as hell. Him being a coward stops being funny after ten seconds. Why is Tails demoted to a helpless child ? And Rotor takes his place as the smart guy who is a Sonic fan boy? Why ? He just isn't as interesting as Tails. This show would have been better of if Ben Hurt made this into his own ip. The series is so divorced of Sonic's game vibe and story. Making it a nice cartoon but not a Nice Sonic cartoon. Also ends on a anoyying cliff hanger. Making this series feel so incomplete. For what it is, it's a fine series.
6/10
Sonic X
Finally a TV series based on the games! A show i loved as a child but didnt age well. Tms is normally great with their animation series but Sonic x feels half assed. I renember reading in an aniway anime magazine that during the production of the show they decided to add Chris, a child character for the western kid audience. They kinda knew this wasn't going to be a hit in Japan, and they were right, because Sonic x had such poor raitings, its last season aired in other countries, not even in Japan.
The Japanese ost is good and for the most part it got the characters right, With some exceptions of Amy Rose being flanderlized and Eggman forgetting he's a bad guy at one point. Sonic is done correctly, a jerkass, impatient, taunts his enemies without being obnoxious, not super on physical affection and Hates staying in one place. He's not the modern cape-super hero as Sonic is shown nowadays. But Sonic x's issues is that outside of the episodes based on the games, most episodes in season 1 and 2 are a bore to sit trough. Chris adds nothing to the cast and his presence hinders the overall enjoyment of the show. (Not helping that Chris steals scenes from the characters in the episodes based on the games ) Most of the human characters are quite anoyying. (Outside of Topaz and Helen, the show missed its huge chance by not making Helen the main human child in Sonic X! Super lost potential there) the anime picks up by season 3 with a new arc and introducing Cosmo. It gets intriguing! Sadly Chris is back too (just why) but two seasons with mostly mid or boring episodes is just to long to sit trough to get to the good parts.
6+/10
Sonic the movie/Sonic ova
The Sonic ova that was used as a pilot for a potential Sonic anime series in the 90s, sadly the vhs copies didn't sell well in Japan and the Ova remains at 2 episodes. I'm serious when I say: Too bad. Because this is the best Sonic animated thing there is! And the only Sonic cartoon I enjoy with a rewatch. (Which is depressing because Sonic has like 7 cartoon series and this 2 ova episodes is the best ones) The animation is a feast to the eyes, the ost is super good. "Look a like"" is such a yam. Sonic is at his best here, an impatient, rude teen, that doesn't save the day to be a superhero. But does it because he feels like it. (THANK you princess Sara) there is such a 90s vibe but it aged so well! Metal Sonic is cool as heck and we get Knuckles here too! Is this very canon to the games? Not really, it takes a different route from its story of its game Sonic cd. That being said, I don't care because for what it is, it's good! I didn't get bored any second. Is it perfect? No offcourse not, it still sucks that Amy Rose isn't present here, despite Sonic cd being her introduction. Would have loved it if Amy was here. I tried some digging but couldn't find any reason to why she was removed in place for Pricess Sara, I can only assume they added Sara to appeal to boys who like cute bratty anime cat girls? 🤔 I can't really think of any other reason why Sara is here. Eggman is at times silly too and him wanting to marry Sara who Is a teenage girl is an uncomfortable 'joke" but outside òf that, Sonic ova Is a super enjoyable anime. And the only Sonic title that I put on my lost as good animated video game adaption.
8/10.

Weekend Top Ten #596
Top Ten Ideas for Star Trek Videogames
So Star Trek. It’s alright, innit? The slower, more cerebral sci-fi show, for Grown Ups who like Talking About Things. As opposed to Star Wars’ sugar rush of wacky aliens and loud weapons. It’s kind of weird now, when both franchises really feel just like stretched-out shared-universe TV serials, but Back In The Day, Star Wars was the exciting, cool movie series, and Star Trek was the serious, nerdy TV series. Everybody could drop a reference to the Death Star or Princess Leia or maybe even a wampa, and basically you were on safe ground. Start talking about dilithium crystals or bat’leths or the Grand Nagus, and people would back away slowly. Nowadays, simultaneously we have a situation where genre TV is all-encompassing, but also its more granular nuances of lore and nerdery are sort of kept to a minimum.
Back in the days of the Wars of Star, though, one way the hyperdrive people had more bragging rights than the warp drive people is through videogames. The nineties were, in a lot of ways, the Golden Age of both properties, and Star Wars excelled in producing some of the greatest of all licenced games. The X-Wing and TIE Fighter space combat games; the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight FPS games; the Rogue Squadron arcade shooter games. They probably reached their zenith with Knights of the Old Republic; since then, there have been good games, but I don’t think anything has shaken the galaxy in the same way. Star Trek, on the other hand, definitely had some great games – shout out to both Klingon Honor Guard and Voyager: Elite Force for being more unusual FPS titles and just generally terrific fun – but it’s hard to think of one that really broke through the way most Star Wars games did. I think because of the more cerebral, slower-paced nature of Trek, a lot of the games fed the fanbase in very specific ways, giving us complex simulations and interactive movies that went deep on the lore and the technobabble.
Anyway, despite the many Trek games on offer, I think nowadays there are some gaps in the market. So, despite my woeful ignorance of the depths that videogame Trek has to offer (I Googled it when writing this thing and there are tons more games in that franchise than I first thought), I’m going to offer my suggestions here. Ideas for games that scratch a particular itch in Trek fandom; areas of the franchise that would translate perfectly to different genres.
And that’s really all there is to it. What more do want from me? I’ve had a busy week.
Star Trek does Mass Effect: after making an official Star Wars RPG with Knights of the Old Republic, BioWare made an original property that clearly owes a debt to Star Trek: Mass Effect. But there’s something in its formula that would perfectly fit an official adaptation. Let’s say you play the First Officer of a starship; during the game you can select your team to go down to planets on away missions, talking to people, solving problems, and occasionally engaging in firefights. Meanwhile you get to walk around the ship, visiting various sections and chatting to the crew. It could be a great mix of discrete “levels” set on planets, with an overarching storyline that allowed for some evolving, emergent gameplay. And maybe there could be a little hidden emote that allows you to sit on a chair like William Riker.
Star Trek does X-COM: there was already an Away Team game, where you played as, well, an away team out on missions, but I think that concept lends itself to a turn-based X-COM style of gameplay. This would most definitely be a tactical combat game, where you have to position your squad behind the usual helpfully-placed crates and boulders to fire your phasers at whatever Cardassian/Romulan/Borg baddie you were facing off with this time. The usual Trek staple of different classes of character – engineers, commanders, etc – would lend a good dose of variety to your squad, as would the nuance of tinkering with your phaser settings and the option of beaming out if things got too tough.
Star Trek does Pandemic: Pandemic is a game where the aim is to spread a virus across the globe, wiping out all of humanity before they can develop a cure. This idea isn’t exactly the same, but what about a tactical game where you play as the Borg? The aim of the game is to assimilate the entire Galaxy. Perhaps the galactic map could be divided into different “powers” – eg Federation space, Romulan, Klingon, etc – and they might have different ways of tackling the Borg, and so you’re dividing time and resources between different tactics. The ultimate goal, though, is to conquer everything and make it all part of the Collective. Resistance is futile, remember!
Star Trek does Gone Home: I’m not necessarily riffing on Gone Home in particular here, but it’s more about those slightly spooky “walking simulators”; things like Dear Esther too. So here you’d have essentially an interactive version of one of those episodes where a member of the crew returns to the ship and discovers that Everything is Different. Here, basically, the plot is that you return from, I dunno, a Bat’leth tournament or a stellar cartography conference or something, to find your starship is utterly deserted. Only by wandering the dimly-lit corridors, speaking to the computer, solving clues, scanning with your tricorder, etc, can you piece together the puzzle and find out what happened. It would be creepy and kooky to begin with, but being Star Trek there’d be a pseudo-scientific explanation.
Star Trek does Superhot: you could definitely argue that the most compelling aspect of Superhot is its trippy time mechanics, with time only moving if you move. But this game would be more in the line of how Superhot plays, meta-textually, with the notion of being a game. You play a person playing the game, and the game in the game turns hostile. So this would be like a recreation of one of the numerous “holodeck goes wrong” episodes (seriously, the holodeck is the most dangerous piece of technology in all of science fiction). So you’d be playing the game, going through different puzzles and scenarios, trying to uncover the real game so you can escape. And the “real” bits, where you’re breaking down the “fake” game, could be rendered in a more stylised, Superhot-esque fashion; although with the old school yellow and black grid as a background.
Star Trek does Sim City: Sim City might not be the best example, but the general gist is you’re establishing one of the many-referenced Federation colonies. So you have to go out and tame the wilderness, making atmospheres breathable, building different buildings to regulate water or harvest local minerals. There could be a campaign where you’re tasked with running different colonies for different reasons – mining dilithium, setting up a research centre, etc – or a sandbox mode where you just basically cover a planet with your futuristic colony.
Star Trek does Startopia: shrinking things down a little bit more we have this, basically a Deep Space Nine simulator. You’re given a run-down starbase to manage, Sisko-style, and have to turn it into a bustling galactic hive. Yes, you can specialise in military or scientific research, or spy on the Cardassians or something; maybe you can even start churning out Galaxy-class starships. But you could also make it a home, creating shops and restaurants, living quarters, schools (watch out for Bajoran extremists!); basically, create the outpost of your dreams. Even open a branch of Quark’s!
Star Trek does Overcooked: speaking of Quark’s, this game would double-down on that setting, where you play another distant relative of everyone’s favourite duplicitous bar-owner, who’s been given the job of running a franchise. So here you not only need to make sure your dabo tables are turning in a profit and that there are adequate, er, stimulations in the holosuites, but also that you’re serving your customers. So you run from one job to the next, throwing drinks at grumpy Irish engineers and occasionally shouting “allamaraine”. And if you cock up a drink order or your racht dies before anyone has chance to eat it, Quark comes in and tweaks your ears.
Star Trek does Elite: really, this one seems kind of obvious, and I’m not certain that they’ve not actually done a version of it. But you’d play an independent pilot – maybe like Rios from Picard – who has a small ship, ferrying cargo or passengers. And, like the galaxy’s most famous space-sim, you can upgrade your ship as you progress, buying a bigger boat to take more cargo. And you can play it by the book – dealing with the Federation would mean protection, access to advanced technology, but also an inability to make profit in a society where money doesn’t really exist anymore – or you can go rogue, smuggling contraband to shady individuals around the Alpha Quadrant. Maybe you could even become a space pirate! Steal a cloaking device from a derelict Klingon cruiser, buy a couple of black market quantum torpedoes, and away you go!
Star Trek does Arkham Asylum: so the Arkham reference here is that this would be a third-person action adventure game focused on physical combat and exploration, but you’d play as a Klingon. Sent off on high-risk missions by the Chancellor, you’d visit far-flung planets, investigate mysteries, and beat up just tons of people. Expand your abilities, augment your tech, and buy a bigger Bat’leth, learning all kinds of vicious fighting techniques. Like Klingon Honor Guard of yore, the focus on Star Trek’s knobbly space Vikings means it can revel in the blood and the guts, swigging blood wine and deciding that today is a good day to die. Qapla'!
Sadly no room for a Pokémon-style Tribbles game, but ah well.

i think any of the following would make a good tv show:
80s xavier mansion
utopia
the jean grey school
not in the sense of a direct adaptation, but in the sense that these are three things that have very clear mission statements that define who the x-men are at that time.
80s xavier mansion has the x-men and also the new mutants, who are young and bright-eyed and have an entirely different set of villains. mutants are still kind of a new phenomenon, they’re all trying to maintain secret identities, and the tech is retro but also anachronistically advanced (e.g. artificial intelligence). the sci-fi/fantasy elements regularly spill over into horror - the brood saga, the demon bear saga (but less racist), vampires, demons, all of these treated with a real sense of the horrific. there’s plenty of drama among the teens, and there’s a different kind of tension among the adults, who are all starting to finally realize how hard the fight for mutant rights will be.
(you don’t have to really maintain the make-up of the eighties x-men team; if you want a more diverse line-up, i think karima, cecelia reyes, and bishop would all work with the premise and feel of the show. especially if you make bishop a little more subtle and make his backstory a mystery for the first season or two.)
utopia has a lot more politics and a lot more espionage. it’s not, overall, a grim show, but bad things do happen. the whole sense is that mutants are coming to an end, that their time is over, but that they won’t go quietly. (m-day is replaced by some other catastrophic event, to spare wanda that indignity.) we get the science team doing their science thing. we get x-force skulking around while scott lies about it. emma is definitely scheming. but we also get the students sneaking out to party in san francisco, we get warren and betsy flirting non-stop, we generally get a sense that they’re living their lives and having fun even while they’re engaged in political and physical fights for their survival.
jgs is the big, sprawling school in an era where everybody knows who the x-men are and where they live. shenanigans. so many shenanigans. the teachers are exhausted. every new shot of the interior of the school itself looks like it can’t possibly exist in the same building as all the previous shots. this show is largely a comedy, but don’t worry! there’s plenty of times when the students (including the one with the shark-head, the one who’s an alien, the other one who’s an alien, and the reincarnated apocalypse) have to punch some villains. mutants are thriving, and these kids are glad they don’t have to worry about politics (as much) because they have enough to do already. like their homework.
#m.txt#x force just by itself would also make a good tv show#but maybe not one i want to watch#x men blogging#x men

#10 The Getaway Ploy
“It’s a refurbished student housing,” you explain as they trail after you like ducks in a row. Even if they don’t understand what you’re saying, they seem to be clinging to every word. Wherever you look there’s always at least one pair of doe eyes staring expectantly back at you a.k.a. what do you do when you open your doors and find a certain retired boyband for some reason wants to move in
▶ type: ot7 x fem! reader (poly)
▶ word count: 5.6k
▶ series’ masterlist
▶ other works
▶t/w: mentions of parental abuse, mentions of childhood trauma and reader's deep denial over said trauma, angst, Taehyung is insane and has kinks
▶ a/n: The resolution of the Kiss debate. To be honest with you guys, I did think of going on a brief hiatus for a bit because that mental state is yodelling all over the place. But the feedback for the last part was so encouraging I'm now considering weathering it through :) Also *circus music starts* to those 11% who said that if I make the kiss angsty, they'll throw a fit... *runs away, clown shoes squeaking* Also please make sure you've read the previous chapter
"This is bullshit!" Taehyung slams down the newspaper. He didn't even read it, merely bought it for theatrical reasons.
"You all spent some time with her! And what do I have? Nothing! I'm not even in the poll pie chart!"
He pushes into their faces the bright image on his screen of a photo pinned to Rebecca's door.
Apartment 27 First Kiss Debate, opening bid 10. Come back to catch up with new weekly results.
Through the swollen eyes, Hoseok can't make out much of the jumbling colours or the knife extended towards his throat. Yoongi sees and doesn't care, continues to flip pancakes, ignoring the threat of being stabbed.
Taehyung points with the blade at the rest of them garnering exactly zero reaction.
"This will be my day!" he threatens, backs hunched like a deranged cat. "I get to play with her!"
"You've got to know how wrong that sounds," Namjoon chides tiredly from his squatting post on the chair, a real-life version of Rodin's Thinker.
"Yeah, no," Jin objects from the small patched sofa in front of a broken 60's TV. "We all came here to have a good time."
"And you can have a good time," Taehyung narrows his eyes, clutching the knife harder, "away from me and her, far away, the further, the better."
They all freeze when you shuffle out of your lodge room, nose wrinkled in disgust.
"How can it still smell like fish in here?" you ask, greeting them one by one. Jungkook greedily reaches for your hand and sinks it into his hair. You oblige, with the other hand navigating milk delivery to the cereal bowl.
"Your hair is turning out quite curly," you remark with a critical eye and Jungkook preens underneath the attention, even straightening in the chair. Taehyung very casually is sharpening the knife two steps away.
"Molly had similar ears," you smile, brushing locks away from the forehead. Jungkook glances up, and even he himself can feel the way his eyes widen and become overrun with stars. He's making that expression he always makes when he thought there really was no one cooler than his soulmates. He must be looking at you like this all the time for there was no one more impressive than you.
"Would you - would you," he stutters, a nervous tick showing itself much to his embarrassment. Instantaneously, he's thrown back to the rookie days when everything was so new and he could barely a word past his lips. He automatically searches for Jin, who gives him an encouraging smile from the sofa.
"Just slow down," he remembers Jin saying. "Don't force the words to come but let them arrive at the speed they want to."
The memory seems like a thousand lives ago, but Jungkook is as fond of it as ever. He breathes in and out, relaxing in your touch. You'd never mentioned any of his difficulties speaking, he knows you wouldn't do that, so he calms.
"Would you like to spend time with us?" he gazes up, from the corner of his eye, spotting thumbs up from Jin. Still, you grow awkward, and much to Jungkook's chagrin, the soft caresses leave his hair.
"Uh... I'd like to but um..." you stumble, then sigh, looking up at the ceiling in pure, unadulterated exhaustion and fish out a crumpled ball of paper out of your sweatpants pocket.
"Kim Seokjin is the most beautiful, kindest man in the world, and I love him so much, I'd ma- no, sorry that's the wrong paper."
You push it back into the pocket while Namjoon throws an unamused glance. The accused, however, sits with round cheeks, smugly nodding along to every word. You cough and then read again, as King's messenger would delivering a decree upon illiterate village simpletons.
"Everyone present, I must inform you that, today I will be devoting all my attention to its rightful owner - Kim Taehyung. I've meditated upon my wrongdoings, namely not spending enough adequate time with upper mentioned Kim Taehyung and will set to fix my faults, in fact, immediately. Thank you for your attention and piss off Yoongi..." you trail off at the last words, turning to the breakfast man whilst cold-blooded chucking the paper in the bin.
"I didn't mean the last part," you point out and Yoongi's lips quirk in the slightest smile.
"I know," he mumbles and if Namjoon wouldn't be in all of this, he'd gag at the loving sight. Yoongi then leans in and presses a chaste kiss to the side of your temple, fingers ghosting across your back.
The cup in Jungkook's hand explodes. Unfettered Jimin picks out the shards of glass from his hair looking just as if not more murderous than Jungkook. Taehyung is up again with the knife in hand. You glance around at the pack of hyenas and make a quick exit. Yoongi out of self-preservation adjusts his hold on the pan for optimal grip.
"I told you he'd be the first," Hoseok murmured bitterly in between bites of pancakes.
"Damn it if every play cards with you," you huff as annoyingly happy Taehyung bounds after you.
"You're a Jungkook," he smugly tosses out.
"Excuse me?"
Holding out a finger he grabs his phone and after a moment announces victoriously.
"A sore loser!"
You grumble and walk away from him but because these men are in fact 80% leg, you don't get very far away.
"Another game?" he suggests
"Did I not just say I would never play with you? Get in through your head, never ag-!"
You slam your forehead against the small table of the confectionery store shop as Taehyung proudly closes the game with 40 to 1.
"I hate you," you groan but he only glows brightly as the sun.
"So...you're my maid."
"I am no such thing!" you brandish the cake fork to his smug grin but the bastard doesn't even feign fear.
"You lost, you do as I want."
That was the insane term you'd agreed on but at the time you'd underestimated just how quickly Taehyung could learn to play checkers.
"What do you want?"
Immediately you regret asking as his grin widens in malicious intent.
"Call me master."
You want to die. No, you want to kill him first, then yourself - to preserve honour.
"No."
"Or maid," he gestures over himself.
You blanch.
"You don't have a maid costume with you!"
"Oh, I do," he crosses palms underneath his chin and dares to look innocent.
"Namjoon won't - he won't - he's in debt, too."
"Okay...master," you grind your teeth and Taehyung turns straight up insufferable. He breathes something akin to cut off groan satisfaction. This dude was a menace to society.
"Didn't hear you," he leans the side of his face obnoxiously close, nearly crushing the table underneath his weight. His profile is right in front of you, so close your cheeks swelter with his body heat and there's nothing but his cologne invading your every sense.
"Master," your tongue burns from the word and Taehyung falls back into the chair with a highly unnerving blissed-out expression.
"If I spot a boner, I'm out," you warn but he doesn't seem to hear it.
Despite the never-ending teasing and abuse of height difference, being with Taehyung wasn't half bad. Admittedly a goof, he was ultimately a kind, if slightly kinky man who despite the evident desire of wanting to see more of ships and town life abandoned it for desolate beaches and hikes through the forest - a beacon of comfort for your kind of thoroughbred social avoidance. Yesterday it was the last sunny day of the season, a bit of Fortune's smile for Jimin, but even in the grey, it is delightful. Many pictures are once again taken or more accurately tried to be taken, with you dodging out of the shot and Taehyung chasing you down. In between comparing scoured seashells or particularly gnarly pine cones, Taehyung shares pieces of his life. He doesn't even blink twice at the outright proclamation of his previous career and so you do the same. He struggles through the very accurate, unbiased and completely not overdramatized account of the infamous Dumpling Incident when a familiar face catches your eye on the hiking trail.
"Ah ______! ...and you weird stranger," Jin beams against the tree, completely casual. Taehyung's left hand itches suspiciously for something on the side of his backpack.
"Don't I look handsome in the forest," Jin models his face from various angles and if completely honest you'd have to say - yes but then again it was Jin. Even if you'd disagree he would blow you all the way across the ocean from the force of his shouting.
You open your mouth but Taehyung is quick to put his palm over your lips.
"I'm sorry," he sneers with pronounced distaste. "I don't let baby talk...talk to strangers."
You frown and bite into his index finger.
"Ah! _______!" he pulls back but doesn't look outraged, in fact, he seems positively elated. "You no bite here, you bite here," he points at the juncture of his slender neck.
You roll your eyes as the first reaction and something from the way Tae nudges you with his foot indicates he is not happy with the response. No, he wouldn't be so cra-!
Taehyung mutely gestures over himself with a stern wrinkle sitting in between his brows. The maid outfit - the clearest of warnings.
"Yes, Master," you sigh and immediately he bounces on the spot with replenished energy while Jin tears the bark of the pine tree.
"Let's go away from the strange man!"
"Yes, Master," you can only echo soullessly, leaving the scenic hiking trail, so when Namjoon falls out of a tree, secretly listening in, you don't even look back.
You're back in the sandwich shop acquainted with yesterday, solving a crossword while Taehyung stares at you with a mysterious smile. Today's menu - grilled salmon sandwiches. The concept of not having fish while on the wharf was a distant concept for the local cuisine. You just sip on the hot cocoa, looping the final letters of T - H- I - R - S - T to a "refers to the necessity of water; in pop-culture describes an excessive sexual desire" when Taehyung with unbridled ease, asks -
"Would you want to have my kids?"
The cocoa is in your nose and the crossword is ruined. Unblinking, he stretches a helpful napkin your way.
"Did you perhaps mean would I overall want kids?" you laugh nervously.
"No."
Before the conversation, if it could be called that, can continue, Taehyung is promptly kicked out of the chair by a very weighty sneaker. Jungkook takes the seat as if nothing happened, contributing a handful of napkins.
You watch in non-existent worry as Taehyung is dragged away by a very innocent looking Jimin and Yoongi.
"Uh...that," you try to direct Jungkook's attention to unfolding semi-abduction but he is having none of it.
"Lesser men," are all the kind words he grants to them.
You toss a hand in the air, having grown used to the various nonsense they got themselves into.
"Do you- you like Yoongi? The most?" he twiddles with his thumbs shyly. "It's cool if you do, I just - I just need twelve-page...uhh essay? To explain why."
You don't really know from where did Taehyung procure a meter long baguette to propel at Jungkook's head, nevertheless, he did so, effectively knocking him out. Perhaps. You wouldn't know, as Taehyung grabbed you by the hand, shouting something to the poor waitress that the man on the floor will pay and dragging you away.
"Taehyung, this is - this is not appropriate," you manage to stutter out, as Taehyung has pressed all of himself against you and up the wall, tucking you both in the relative hiding of the small museum's alcove.
"I don't know what "appropriate" means," is all he whispers, breath hot against your ear, your vision landing in the square of his chest.
"Clearly," you ironize and he chuckles, the above-mentioned chest rumbling from the quiet laughter.
"Hmm, maybe, we not hidden good."
There's that glint in his eyes again, that suggests he's up to some devilry.
"We're hidden good enough."
But Taehyung only shakes his head, his hair brushing over your forehead as he puts all his weight against your form, so you're practically pinned to the wall.
"No, this," he captures your thighs and hoists you up against his thighs, trembling from the weight as those grubby hands of his wrapping tightly against your waist. "This is much better."
"This is really not appropriate," you uselessly reason, actively disengaging from the situation at hand from the overwhelming input of proximity.
Taehyung looks somewhere down, in the vicinity of your chin, one corner tipping upward into a sharp smirk.
"And whose watching?" he rumbles, leaning down.
"I AM!"
In the entryway of the museum's second floor, ichthyological exhibition, stands Jungkook, panting and vengeful, armed with the damn baguette. Taehyung lets you down, shoving you behind his back, arms stretched out.
"I told you she's mine for the day!" Taehyung growls and you try not to think about the weird sensation at the word "mine".
"We- we did not - agree to this!" Jungkook advances with the baguette.
"Can't you guys just be normal for a day?" you ponder behind the wall known as Kim Taehyung. "Just like for a day?"
You get ignored.
"I'm sorry Miss, do you know those two?" the museum curator asks, watching in astounded horror as Taehyung and Jungkook try to crawl up each other, trading weak blows.
"No," you reply and leave the building.
"_______, why do you think the sky is grey?" Jin asks as you awkwardly sway, trying to walk with his gigantic stature clinging onto you like a mite.
"Why, Jin," you blankly humour him for the fifteenth time.
"Cause all the colours are in your eyes."
Cue high pitched, wiping laugh in your ear.
"Hey, _______."
"What, Jin?"
"How does it feel to be more beautiful than the ocean?"
"Then tell me."
Jin blushes bright red, ears so hot they could signal ships back home as he lets go of you to crumple onto the rock breakwater.
"Feels good, thanks."
You move onto much quieter Hoseok and Yoongi, dodging any loose rocks.
"They're still bothering you?" Yoongi asks, gently holding onto your elbow as Hoseok does the same.
"Yeah. Don't pretend you didn't as well," you throw him an accusatory stare, but he turns his head away.
"The only one who hasn't been nagging the hell out of me is Hoseok," you point out and at the mention of his name, he automatically gives a tight-lipped smile but stops because he knows you don't get caught up in his deceits.
"I...I want you to rest," he scratches at his ear. "You're no...not sleeping again."
It's your turn to look away. There really was no way you could ever lie to Hoseok.
"How do you know?" you whine.
"Monday to Tuesday you slept well, I didn't hear you um...walking in your room. Wednesday you walked for ten minutes but Thursday you walked thirty minutes. Yesterday for an hour."
"Is it me or does it seem a little scary?" you try to joke with Yoongi but now there are lines of deep worry etched on his face.
"Is this true?" he asks. "Your insomnia is back?"
"What's this about insomnia?" Joon suddenly asks hovering above you like a black-haired orb.
"It's nothing, really," you huff, slightly smothered by all the caging. "It's just...well it's easier to show you."
You hand them your phone with the open email.

Hello, ___________, I know this is last minute, but Erik got sick and he can't go now to the convention. I need someone responsible to fill in (you know won't talk too much, won't drink themselves to death) and you came to mind. Respond ASAP, the flight out is on Monday 19:30.
Cheers,
Solveig, HR&A department manager.
"This is good, right?" Namjoon says above you, placing his chin on your head. "The event can help you network and stuff."
"I hate networking. I didn't think seriously of going, anyway."
"But?" Yoongi urges and you bite on your lip coming to the stop at the front of the water breaker, watching as Jungkook and Taehyung, having quickly made peace, chased each other around.
"For fun's sake, I threw a portfolio together, of my work," you admit and Hoseok nods along.
"The hour walking."
"Yes, that's why I paced around, and I don't know I had this quick flash of like...maybe I could do it, maybe someone could appreciate what I do, but - "
"But?" Namjoon echoes Yoongi.
"It doesn't matter! It will not matter! Do you have the slightest idea how nepotic is this line of work? If you don't have connections, you could design the interior of Taj Mahal and no one will care!"
You sit down, watching the small waves splash against the rocks. They all plop next to you, hair ruffling in the wind. Behind you there come the sounds of Jin and Jungkook struggling to push each other into the water.
"Anna cared, didn't she?" Yoongi gently breaches but you scoff, mirthlessly.
"Anna likes my designs, yes, but more than anything she'd like me to have a threesome with her husband."
Namjoon's jaw clamp shuts.
"Are you sure it's about how impossible it is or is it more about your mother?" he asks blandly and without even fully wanting to, you turn hateful. It didn't matter how many years went by, the hatred and humiliation and resentment didn't lessen even a little.
"Don't ever talk about my mother with me, ever. Do you understand?"
He flinches backwards, astounded by the abrupt fury. Even Hoseok and Yoongi seem startled.
You breathe out an aggressive sigh and force a gentler tone.
"Sorry, about that but this... I don't want to talk about it."
You look onto the sea, letting your mind wander far away, from life and its problems. At times like these comprehending the vast nature of the world, time and space you seemed so small. And perhaps that was a comforting idea. Your pain will fade because you will fade, the mistakes you've made will disappear into time and while you will make no impact, largely you also won't screw up the world. The universe will persevere with you or without you. In the sands of eons, no one will remember you and no one will be able to laugh at you or see your failure. The only person who'd truly know all of you would be only yourself and all the ugly parts and thoughts and memories as such would remain safe in the confine of your skull.
In the distance whale springs from the water, diving up and then disappearing into the depth. You all collectively "ooh" at the sight.
The thing was that you could be someone. You had advantages at birth, other people didn't. Being the daughter of the UN Senior Political Affairs Officer granted the opening of many doors, but the one that mattered the most, the doors to your home, remained closed. You'd rather shut all the doors in the world than to ever vouch for yourself using the name of your mother. Your... well, you guessed that the word the woman, who approved your surname change request, used was your abuser.
The process had been strenuous as the request didn't apply to any terms officially approving the name change but in the end, after intervention with a state-licensed psychiatrist, you managed it in the end. Abandoned your surname, your university, your degree of Political Sciences, abandoned it all to hell, seemingly having nothing but you still could vividly recall that feeling of freedom. Like you were finally able to breathe fresh air for the first time in your life. The physical copy of the surname change was soaked with your tears right at the entry of the Civil Registry that day. Though you didn't like it how was it received -
"Due to parental abuse and diagnosed long-lasting effects of childhood trauma inflicted upon the applicant, the request for the surname change to avoid contact with the legal parent is granted."
- but in the long run, you were just happy to be rid of this stain. In your private thoughts, you assumed the psychiatrist was embellishing it a little bit. Your mother didn't beat you, it's not like you had broken bones every day or she let anyone else touch you, she just wasn't a suitable parent. You weren't abused, you just had a difficult upbringing, many people had it worse and it was nothing to whine over. Right, the psychiatrist was just dramatic, to get the request approved. The words "long-lasting trauma" sounded serious, something that should be treated with, rather than simply saying you didn't bond well with your mother. Some people were not meant to be parents and their kids were not meant to be their kids. It's all there was.
"I just want to have a good day," you mumble, coughing away something lodged in your throat, resting your head on Hoseok's shoulder, observing the distant whale coming back to the surface. "Can we do that?"
They're all silent for a minute, exchanging grave expressions before lightening up to the best of their abilities.
"Of course, we can," Namjoon assures and Yoongi leans in to kiss your temple again but something in the way you stare at the sea like you're decades away in your mind, stops him and he frowns at the rocks instead.
"This turned out so nice," you coo at the picture you've all taken together, squeezed into the small, creaking chair of a local cafe. Surprise, surprise, the menu was 90% fish.
The picture was taken back at the breakwater, with the sea as the background and you all huddled together, specifically the guys huddled around you as some strategic kneeling and leaning had to be done to fit everyone in the shot. It was late evening already and everyone, including you, was drunk. Not the wisest decision probably.
"What the hell is that?" you point at the possibly largest trout you've seen being carried on a platter to table four.
"It's my love for you," Namjoon hiccups with a dimpled goofy smile. Taehyung had tucked himself on your thigh and Jungkook was in his natural position, sniffing your hair and/or neck. You weren't certain. Whenever you got this feeling, that this was certainly not what roommates did, all of this, the touching, the hugging, the slight groping, was not exactly normal behaviour you took a shot or a sip, anything really and lulled the feeling away.
It was all around a merry gathering except for Hoseok who wasn't drinking but looked like he had. He didn't smile or joke at all, resigned to sitting quietly to the side and enduring Yoongi's incredibly sweet professed nothings. After ten minutes you examine as he gently pries away Yoongi from his side, pushes him towards Jin and left the cafe with nary of explanation.
You saw him rifling through the breast pocket and you instinctively knew what that meant.
"You promised me you wouldn't smoke anymore."
Much to Hoseok's fright you appear out of nowhere, startling him into the metal bins, guilty cigarette already tucked between his lips.
He can see that you're well on your way to being unconscious and hangover the next morning but he still obeys the accusing tone and chucks the cigarette away.
"Sorry, I...I can't quit. It's too hard."
You approach him, shivering in the cold and more than anything Hoseok wants to have the courage to hug you, lend you his jacket, hold your hand anything at this point, but he always was a coward, so he resolves to lose the battle with the addiction, rather than giving in the one he had with himself about you. By smoking, he harmed only himself, if he ever concedes the war of restraint, inevitably it will also hurt you. He long ago promised not to hurt you anymore but you have this concerned look in the eye, and you're standing so close he can smell your shampoo and you're so real he could just reach out and touch you. No, no, he will not touch you, unwanted touch hurts, he knew that.
"Why don't you bother me?" you ask.
You're drunk, Hoseok tells himself, you were slurring your words and swaying, this was not the conversation to have whilst not being sober but his restraint is waning. Fast. Eroding like sand in a tsunami.
"You want me...give you trouble?" he laughs, remembering your feeble attempts to wrangle Jin off your back. If anything, he thought you were annoyed by them.
"I want your attention," you pout taking a step forward. Hoseok automatically steps away. He knew you did, to compensate for being invisible, but you would never admit it out loud. Another point for that he should get you inside really quick before anything bad would happen. Before his restraint broke and he'd drown you in all this love he held for you. If only he could tell you how much of his attention you held, how he counted your steps at night when you didn't sleep, how he watched every time how you cursed silently when a coworker of yours send a dumb e-mail. How he sometimes saw you on the street, by accident, observing the way you moved on your own through the world. You had all of his attention but if he showed it to you it would only hurt you in the end. Yes, he would be happy, he would be overjoyed for every single day of his remaining life but what life would it be for you. If they dated you then publically it would have to appear as it would be only one of them, it would impact the relationship as a whole. And if it ever got out you were dating them all - the world would eat you whole. You'd get what he got, stalkers, death threats, pressure. No one would care how hard you worked to live, how kind you were or what you dreamt for, they would build another you, pin the mask to your face and then throw rocks at the image they created.
They were who they were and to love you from the pedestal that the world imposed upon them was selfishness. It was selfish to chase you down, charm you into their arms only to then submerge you into a taunting nightmare once everything would be revealed and pretend that they could fix it all with a kiss or an encouraging word. Hoseok wasn't a master of love, he was bad at it, but he knew that above all love was not supposed to be selfish.
But it's so very hard to not give in when you're right underneath his nose, gaze glossed over but determined.
"Why don't you kiss me?" you ask quizzically and he has to screw his eyes shut. He will lose if you look at him.
"They all did. Tried at least," you continue, breath fanning over his neck. He sinks his nails into his fist, hoping it would help, but it doesn't.
"Not you. Not even a kiss on a foreh-"
Hoseok kisses you. Practically shoves his face into yours. You give a muffled sound in surprise, eyes shooting wide open but you're not pushing away.
"Stop, what are you doing, stop! Right now!" he can hear his own worried voice rattling somewhere but it's lesser than dust in the wind. He can taste your lip balm and the beer you drank and he can smell Namjoon's cologne on you because he had been hogging you all the time during dinner and he can't stop.
How many times did he imagine you instead of strangers? How many times did he theorize how would it feel, falling in love with a dream over and over again? None of it compared because simply you were real. He sinks his fingers in your hair, desperate, pleading, one hand hitting against the brick wall of the cafe where he pins you.
Give in. Give in. Give in. It would be so easy. Stop pretending you don't want this, stop pretending you're not desperate. Hoseok never gave much thought to demons, before this very moment where there is one worming his way through every base instinct he has, shoving away the purity, the caution.
You try to match his energy but just as he suspected you're drowning underneath the weight of what he holds for you. You didn't have the luxury of growing up with them, leaning into the idea of soulmates slowly, you get the finished product, the feverish longing shoved right into your arms with zero preparation.
Still, Hoseok can't stop, his mind is yelling to stop, he's breaking every rule he ever set, but his body does as it wills. He presses into you with sloppy, wet kisses, uncoordinated because you're still strangers and lets his hand roam where it can reach. He traces your chin, your collarbone, your arms, sides, losing himself in you completely.
Even when he registers a waitress coming through the backdoors, witnessing the scene, not caring and chucking the trash in one of the bins, he doesn't stop. He's not in the right state to stop, but then he gets a whiff of the garbage smell and he becomes acutely aware of the surroundings.
Behind an unknown cafe, amongst trash and rats, pressing you against a dirty wall. Stealing a kiss while you were drunk.
Disgusting. Unworthy. Disrespectful.
If you would ever be with him, no money that they had could buy you all a normal life. This is what you would get - booked hotels under fake names, dates in the shabbiest of places where no one expected them to be, sloppy make-outs between piles of trash. Hiding you away like some sort of dirty secret and not openly cherished as you should be.
You deserved more.
You deserved home. You deserved the world and Hoseok couldn't give you that. Simple as that. He could not give you what you needed, could only take what he wanted.
Love was not selfish.
So he pulls away. Practically tears himself off at the speed of light.
You stand veering slightly, out of breath against the wall. Hair a complete mess, lips swollen and flourishing bruise on your neck, he wasn't aware he'd given you one and now he grew even more ashamed. He mauled at your throat like that, maybe you didn't even want it, he hadn't asked.
"I'm sorry," he croaks, trying so hard not to cry. "That was a mistake."
Oh.
Right.
Of course.
It always was.
The hold around your heart is so painful, it crushes all of your insides in a mush. And then the pain disappears, as sudden as a leg cramp when the muscles release and you feel nothing. Nothing at all, just the awful hollow.
"Well, mistakes happen," you say, voice distant. You want to go away, where no one knows you, where you can be alone.
Hoseok observes your expression with a pained grimace.
"Hey, it's not you, it's - "
"You?" comes your counter, slightly derisive and he winces. "I'm going to go back to the lodge."
You waddle away, taking slow steps, one at the time as if you've forgotten how to walk. Hoseok's concern only grows as he watches you detach from the world. It was scary the way all soul left your face and you just grew...still.
"No, really, I..." he tries to amend but you don't want to hear it. You don't want to hear anything at all. And so he's left standing alone at the wharf, surrounded by the sounds of rushing wind and the swaying wind.
"What do you mean you're going to New York?" Yoongi asks quietly, careful not to wake anyone up.
"I mean, I'm taking my chance, what do I have to lose if I go to this convention, right? You wanted me to go."
"Well, yes," Yoongi stammers, anxiously taking in the way you avoid him, his look, his questions, even his presence if it was less than ten steps away. "But you were rather determined not to go just yesterday. It's a bit sudden..."
"I can change my mind," you snap.
He thinks very, very carefully of his next words.
"Are you running away?"
For the first time in the early morning, you stop moving and peer back at him. The kitchen is small but there's so much space between you, Yoongi wonders if he can ever breach it.
"Why would I run away?" you lie. "I'm fine."
Yoongi lets his hand fall away from the chair and stands awkwardly, not knowing what to say, how to comfort you.
You nod to yourself when he stops talking.
"The conference is for three days, but maybe I'll stay longer. I don't know yet how much the HR will pay for it."
Yoongi can only numbly take in what you're saying. He wanted to take you roller skating or go to the caves he saw on the brochure, or play to you the guitar you'd both chosen. All those plans, fond certainty that you could make it through together, all of it - gone in an instant.
You bid him quiet goodbye, not expecting him to be up in the first place, and reach for the handle of the door, dragging your suitcase behind.
That damn red suitcase Yoongi loathes. Every time he lost you, he saw it trailing after you. Like a beacon, it shone your way but he was always in the storm, failing to catch up, stranded as you flew away.
"Just come home," he breaks as you step over the threshold. "I'll wait for you. No matter how long it takes, I'll wait."

Let Me In, Pt 2.
(Stranger Things x Reader)
The edit was quick so please forgive any spelling errors or grammar mistakes. I'm in the process of moving so I figured I would post this now. It's quite a bit longer than the last few but I'm trying to build relationships between characters. It's also kind of cute and fluffy but I thought it would be a good one to end on until I can get the next part posted. Enjoy! Feedback is welcome.
Warnings ⚠️: swearing, touching, inappropriate gestures, tobacco use, flirting...just some real fluff with Steve Harrington.
Reading Time: ~15 mins.
-‐-------------------------------‐-----------------------------------
The screen lit up the room as it showed a panicked Nancy Thompson thrashing around on a hospital bed in the middle of a sleep study. Her mother ran in to her rescue, waking her up. You watched as she began running her fingers through the brand new slice of silver hair placed conveniently along the side of Nancy's head, confused and worried. It almost made you laugh as the scene played out on the TV until you wondered how terrified she would have to be in real life for her hair to change color like that on it's own. This was a movie, of course. You knew how your recent nightmares made you feel but your hair remained the same shade it's always been. You weren't sure if it was even physically possible to be so traumatized that your hair color could damn near erase itself but you realized that if fear was able to alter your appearance the way it had so far, then you couldn't rule it out.
'Poor Nancy.' You empathized with her, feeling as though you shared similar burdens. No. You didn't want to think about that right now. Squinting ever so slightly, you forced your mind to wander away from that topic, a new thought popping into it's place. 'Nancy. Wait...isn't that Wheeler's first name? Shit...'
You mentally slapped your palm to your forehead at the realization, feeling like a failure as a friend. You tried to sneak a peek at Steve out of the corner of your eye, your way of checking in without revealing what you had just discovered. Even though it was something you should have already known with as much as you had heard about her. Guilt tugged at your chest. Steve and Robin had provided you comfort almost every time you've ever needed it. Whether you asked or not. You hoped if it came down to it, you could finally return the favor. But his face gave nothing away.
You heard Nancy's name called out again a few lines later and your eyes flicked back to Steve to watch for a reaction. His face stayed stoic but as you glanced down at his hand placed over the bicep closest to you, you noticed his grip tighten until his knuckles turned white. Your heart ached a little for him.
As you leaned into him to speak, attempting to serve as a distraction, the two of you looked down almost perfectly in sync with one another as you felt the blanket slide across your legs. Both pairs of eyes followed the blanket being pulled in Robin's direction and you realized at the same time that she had fallen asleep. Turning her back toward you with eyes glued shut, she yanked the blanket over her shoulder and tucked her hands up under her cheek like a makeshift pillow. She then unconsciously allowed herself to get comfortable, sinking down into the arm rest. A few more seconds passed and she let out a soft snore.
You turned to Steve and his eyes were already meeting yours. You were sure that you were both thinking the same thing. Robin always fell asleep in the middle of movie nights, sometimes toward the end of the first movie, other times toward the middle of the second. It was rare she ever made it longer than that. You decided to take advantage of this moment, desperately needing a smoke break.
With slow, steady movements, you grabbed the sliver of blanket still covering half of your lap and tucked it closer to Robin. After staring at her a while longer to make sure you didn't wake her, you turned back to Steve when she didn't move a muscle. Not even risking a whisper, you mouthed the words "smoke break" and brought two fingers to your lips before pulling them away, pretending to exhale. You were hoping if Steve couldn't tell what you were trying to say, he would at least put two and two together from the gesture that accompanied it. He wrinkled his nose in response and you snorted quietly, knowing then that he understood. Placing your palms together, you held your hands up as if in prayer, shooting him a pout. He mouthed back 'NOT FAIR' as a smirk appeared on his face. The pout always worked.
He pretended to think on it for a moment before letting out a barely audible sigh and nodding, giving in to your silent pleading. You answered with the slowest fist pump he'd ever seen, celebrating your small and kind of pointless victory. In response, Steve rubbed his face, trying to stifle the laugh that wanted to make itself known. Once he managed to wrestle it back, he placed a finger to his lips, reminding you to be as quiet as possible and eventually lifted himself off the couch with ease. You nodded back at him in understanding as he reached for your shoes under the table and handed them to you. Chancing a final glance back at Robin, you leaned down slowly to slip your shoes on. Once you had confirmed she had passed out, you pushed yourself up to a gradual stand the way he had a few moments ago and gave yourself an imaginary pat on the back for actually pulling it off.
Almost as if to prove otherwise, Robin stirred and your eyes darted back in her direction. You didn't have to look back at Steve to know he was holding his breath too and the pair of you stayed frozen in place until she had relaxed back into her previous position. The sound of a gentle snore filled the room, somehow loud enough to be heard over the shrieks coming from the TV. You could feel an uncontrollable urge to burst into laughter.
Noticing your extremely obvious attempt to choke down your giggle, Steve quickly yet gently placed his hand over your mouth, pulling you backwards into the kitchen before you could explode into a fit of laughter. You failed to keep a couple of loose giggles from spilling out. Thankfully, they were muffled and could hardly be heard over the noises continuing to sound off from the living room. Steve shushed you and you could feel the sudden warmth from his breath on your cheek as he leaned in close to your ear. "You're gonna wake her up!"
Without removing his hand from your mouth, he scooped your bag up off the counter with ease and continued to guide you through the house, swiftly but delicately, minding his steps. He led you out the back door. As he dragged you outside, he shut the door behind you and beamed at the fact that you both made it out successfully and without injury.
'All that sneaking into Wheeler's bedroom must have paid off, I guess!' You knew better than to state this out loud for him to hear but you couldn't deny that you were a little impressed. He finally let go of your mouth and you could smell his cologne clinging to your uniform. You only caught the scent because the wind picked up as it had been doing all night but it made it noticeable from that point on. It was a pleasant one. A comfortable one.
A broken laugh pushed it's way out as you gasped for air dramatically, still working to keep your voice at a reasonable level. Steve flashed his usual award-winning smile at you with his eyebrows raised. His hands found their way to his hips as he lectured, a playful, half-whispered yell. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME, Y/L/N? YOU ALMOST WOKE THE BEAST! That's the quietest she's been all day! What were you thinking?!"
Your giggle lingered as you pulled the pack out of your bag and grabbed out a cigarette and the lighter. Steve wrinkled his nose again at the sight of it as you placed it between your fingers and trapped it in your lips to light up.
"I'M SORRY! I couldn't help it!" Your words came out in a mumble but your tone matched his. He watched your lips as you inhaled and his eyes flicked up to meet yours once again. Even in the dark, you could notice his ears growing red. The flush started creeping toward his cheeks and you wondered if he noticed it too or if it was just the result of the cold. "She does need the sleep though."
He nodded in agreement as you turned your head slightly away from him and exhaled. He added to your statement, "Yeah, I don't think she's been getting much lately either."
'Either? ' You weren't sure if he was referring to himself or trying to let you know that he noticed you were lacking sleep too. Trying to change the subject with subtlety, you held the cigarette out to him, offering it up just to be polite. You already knew his answer though. He held a palm up and shook his head. "Ugh. No. Thanks anyway." You laughed as you shrugged off his distaste and brought it back to your mouth to take another puff. He let out a harsh sigh.
"I know it's not my place to tell you what to do but..." He shook his head again, almost as disapproving as the last and continued, "....as a friend....you know. Someone that's concerned about your health and safety? You really should look into quitting." Your gaze was fixed on the smoke you just exhaled, watching it curl up as it hung in the air before quickly disappearing.
"I appreciate your concern, Harrington. As always." Your face softened as you realized his words were genuine and not just some sad attempt to flirt like it may have been back when he was more commonly referred to as King Steve. He was a completely different person back then. You snapped yourself out of old memories before the silence could become too awkward and finished your thought. "Really. I do. But I'm just not ready to quit yet." You could tell it wasn't the answer he was looking for but he nodded, respecting your decision and backing down from his argument.
Taking in another drag, you looked up at the sky. Pitch black. 'Thank god.' Your mouth all of a sudden felt dry and the corners of your lips twitched into a frown, berating yourself over your poor choice of the word 'god'. It resounded in your mind just as it had in your horrific episode earlier. 'God? Your 'God' is not here.'
Trying to distract yourself from the invading thought, you shook it off and forced yourself to inspect the sky further, noticing only a few stars sprinkled throughout the darkness. Your shoulders dropped and you let a breath out through your nose, hoping your limbs would stay numb to the cold. The smoke you inhaled came out with it.
Steve continued to watch you carefully without saying a word as you admired the sky and he admired you. The way your hair blew lightly with the breeze, your chill-kissed cheeks a stunning shade of pink and those eyes...even though they seemed heavy due to lack of sleep with the dark circles surrounding them as proof, they were still beautiful to him. Before he could get completely lost in you, he noticed as a subtle change in your expression broke through. He had always been kind of jealous of (and sometimes irritated by) your ability to keep your face from giving away everything you were feeling. But not in that moment. In that moment, you looked vulnerable...almost frightened. His instinct to comfort you was stronger than ever and he tossed the idea around in his head. But almost as quickly as it appeared, the distressed look left your face along with the sigh and the smoke you had let escape your lungs just now. He noticed your body relax after and internally thanked himself over and over again for not making the situation awkward by attempting to comfort you like he wanted to. When you finally broke the silence, he let out a sigh of his own. A sound of relief that went unnoticed by you.
"Horrible movie choices, by the way. I can't believe you let Robin pick!" He couldn't help but laugh at your snarky comment and threw his hands up in defense. "Hey, I had to! I told you earlier, those were the stakes of the bet and I lost." He paused as you shot him a sideways look. Curiosity, this time. And it was only obvious because you wanted it to be. He swayed nervously before adding another statement to avoid an interrogation. "I may be a sore loser, but I know when to admit defeat..." No, he didn't. "....for the most part." He corrected himself and followed it up with a smile as he ran his hand through his perfect hair to help soften the humility. It didn't work. "You're right though. Horrible movie choices."
Steve thought he managed to escape an explanation but you crushed that hope after inhaling another puff. "So what were the terms of the bet?" His mouth fell open slightly and his eyes searched every square inch of the back yard for an answer. Any answer that sounded better than the ACTUAL answer.
"Steve?" It was the way you said his name that ripped him from his thoughts. The tone was mostly curious, like before. But he detected a hint of nervousness, as if you might suspect it would be something you wouldn't want to hear. He realized he was silent for too long by now to play it off as something that didn't actually matter. Right as he mustered up the courage to say anything at all, you raised your palm up to him weakly and laughed it off. "Alright, alright. You don't have to tell me."
Taking in the last of the cigarette, your eyes wandered to a spot across the yard that opened up into a wooded area. The woods usually didn't bother you much during the day but at night, especially tonight, it seemed much more ominous. Plucking up a little bit of courage yourself, you headed in that direction, hoping that the way you were trudging over would be enough to intimidate whatever....or whoever could possibly be lurking in the shadows. You knew it was unlikely anyone would be out there but you kept your walk confident for good measure. Confusion flooded Steve's face and he called after you, forgetting all about trying to keep his voice down. "HEY! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?"
He couldn't wait long enough for you to answer. His feet carried him forward to follow behind you before he could stop himself. Hearing his hurried steps a few feet behind you, you turned your head and called back to him over your shoulder, not breaking stride. "Relax, Harrington. I'm just trying to be a polite house guest and dispose of my cigarette butt somewhere other than your backyard."
At this, he slowed down but continued to follow you until you reached the edge of the perfectly manicured lawn. You bent down to make sure the cigarette was completely out, snubbing the end in the damp grass before taking it between your thumb and middle finger and flicking it into the woods. You hadn't noticed it so much before but it was quiet out there. Almost too quiet. It was deafening. You turned back to Steve, desperate to hear anything at all to rid yourself of the shiver that ran down your spine. It wasn't from the cold this time.
You nearly bumped into him a second time as he stood directly in front of you now, looking down at you with gentle eyes. He didn't know you knew but every now and again, you'd catch him doing this - trying to study your expressions in an attempt to piece together how you were feeling or what you were thinking. You also noticed he'd get flustered if he couldn't figure it out. The corners of your mouth turned up slightly and you raised a brow with a challenge.
"You know.....I COULD just ask Robin." His eyes got wider and he crossed his arms over his chest, shaking his head a little quicker than he probably intended. "Robin? Wh-what do you mean ask Robin? Ask Robin what?" You let your head fall to the side and let out a soft chuckle. If it wasn't clear before, it was clear now. Steve was nervous. Poking your index finger into his chest lightly, you took a step toward him without breaking eye contact. "You know EXACTLY what I'm talking about."
You noticed he swallowed hard and took a step back as you took your step closer. But his eyes never left yours. You let your finger drop from his chest and it looked as though he frowned a little. 'Maybe I should stop messing with him...did I hurt his feelings somehow?' You ran through the last few minutes of conversation in your head but couldn't pin point what may have caused a sudden change in his behavior. The playful look on your face turned into a suspicious one.
"Harrington, I'm talking about the bet.....what did you think I was talking about?" Your brows furrowed without you even realizing. His eyes fell to his feet and his hands returned to his hips as he shifted his weight. One foot to the other. Trying to lighten the mood, you brought the back of your hand up to his forehead as if checking for a fever. "Are you sure you're ok?"
Before your hand could make contact with his forehead, he grabbed it and pulled it away from his face, bringing it casually back down to your side. But he didn't let go of it. The confusion spread across your features now and you realized something really was wrong. You stayed quiet to give him the opportunity to speak and when he finally did, his gaze stayed fixed on his feet.
"It's about the bet." His words were short. He lifted his head to look across the yard and ran his free hand over his face in an anxious manner. It bothered you that just a second ago, he had no problem making eye contact with you but now he was doing everything he could to avoid it. Your voice came out a little more hushed than you intended, but it had a bite to it now. "What about it, Steve?" He rolled his head back and blew out a heavy breath before finally bringing his eyes back down to look at you again.
"During the last shift I worked with Robin, we were discussing my uh....my love life...." You smirked and narrowed your eyes. Why was he so nervous about that? You guys always discussed his love life at work. Still unsure of why this was so hard for him to tell you, you stayed silent and nodded at him reassuringly to keep going. He nodded back and gulped before opening his mouth again to speak.
"Long story short, Buckley tried to say I get too flustered when I talk to women now and I argued that wasn't the case...." He bit his bottom lip and pulled his hand through his hair again, realizing that even in this very moment, he was proving Robin right. He groaned internally at the thought of having to admit it later, already irritated over it. The irritation showed as his empty hand flew up before slapping back down to his thigh.
"Well. She basically told me to show up or shut up and bet that I wouldn't ask you out on a date. In her words," Both of his hands came up this time, abandoning yours at your side and he wiggled two fingers from each to signify air quotations, "it 'should be easier with her since you guys are already good friends.'" He dropped them to cross his arms up in defense as he continued. "She said she thought it might be harder to ask a stranger since I've been striking out left and right at Scoops."
You whispered with a breathy laugh and crossed your arms, unintentionally mirroring him. "Classic Robin." It turned into a giggle as you and Steve shared a knowing look. With a sudden realization, the confusion reappeared on your face and you pointed a finger at him again.
"Wait. You DID score a date though! Tomorrow night, right? I picked up your closing shift so you could go out with....." you winced as you struggled to remember the right name. It spilled from your lips slowly so he could correct you at any point if you got it wrong. "Mmmmiiiiinnndy?" He confirmed by saying her name at the same time you did, but his version was shorter and more precise. "Mindy, yeah. I uh....I made her up."
You slowly moved your hand up to your mouth to hide another giggle, your eyes wider now. "You made her up?! Why?!" The amusement in your voice was becoming harder to hide. He rubbed the back of his neck and the blush that covered his ears and cheeks earlier found it's place again, more intense this time.
"You know how Robin is! Relentless. I knew if I didn't make the attempt to follow through in some way, I'd never hear the end of it. So I told her I actually already had a date scheduled with 'Mindy'. That way, I wouldn't have to ask you out and she wouldn't bother me about it anymore." You lowered your gaze and nodded as he shared his explanation.
"But if Robin knows about your 'date' with 'Mindy', why did you lose the bet?" He shrugged as he cracked a small smile. "Because Robin specified it had to be you." His eyes roamed your face again, trying desperately to read your thoughts but failing. He added to his last statement in a hurry as a last ditch effort to save face.
"I tried to argue my point that a date is a date but...well...." his laugh sounded forced but you did him a hidden favor and laughed with him, agreeing. "It's Robin. No, I totally get it."
You let the news process for a moment in silence before you reached out and gently punched his arm. "You DID mention you knew when to take a loss. So tell me, Harrington. Was it worth it?" Your eyebrows shot up and you flashed him a lopsided grin to match the teasing tone in your voice. He stuck out his thumb and gestured back toward the house. "With THOSE movie picks? No, absolutely not. Not at all."
His anxiety melted away as you laughed again at his sarcasm and he stepped a little closer to you, feeling brave. You let out a soft gasp at the sudden closeness but Steve was too preoccupied with making sure his next words came out as perfect as he could manage to notice. "Look...I just want to say...."
'Do it, Harrington. Do it now. You might not get another chance like this...' The bravery was short-lived but his eyes stayed locked on yours. "...I just want to say that -"
His voice was cut off by another in the distance. A loud one, proceeded by the sound of a door slamming shut. Steve flinched without turning to look and you glanced over his shoulder at it's source.
"I CANT BELIEVE YOU GUYS LEFT ME IN THERE BY MYSELF! HELLO?! HAVE YOU NOT SEEN NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET? OR ANY OTHER HORROR MOVIE FOR THAT MATTER? I KNOW YOU HAVE BECAUSE WE WATCH THEM TOGETHER! YOU KNOW...TOGETHER...AS IN ALL OF US IN THE SAME ROOM...."
You both laughed and shook your heads as Robin continued to scream at you from across the yard. You couldn't see her too well from this far away, but her eyes still held evidence of a heavy sleep and she had the blanket wrapped around her like a cloak, shielding her from the cold you had all but forgotten was there until now.
"ARE YOU GUYS EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!"
With this, Steve turned himself slightly to yell back. "KEEP IT DOWN, BUCKLEY, I HAVE NEIGHBORS!" Robin forced a hand through the blanket and threw up her middle finger in response before stomping back in the house. As the door slammed shut again and the coast seemed to be clear, he turned back to you and pointed toward the spot Robin had just disappeared from. "Why is she like this?"
The smile stayed planted on your face. "I don't know....but I guess that's our cue to get back inside." You pulled at his sleeve as a non-verbal gesture to follow you and you both started your walk back to the house. As you reached the door you placed your hand on the knob and turned back to Steve before opening it. Curiosity struck again.
"I'm sorry....you just wanted to sayyyyyy...." you dragged the last word out as if waiting for him to finish the sentence Robin had interrupted moments before. "...you know....before Robin so rudely interrupted..."
Steve's eyebrows flew up in surprise at the question before settling on an answer. Not THE answer. But an answer. He could feel his face warm up this time and tried to cut it off by making his response quick. "Oh, uh, I just wanted to say you don't have to work my shift tomorrow night. You know. Since Mindy won't be making it." You both chuckled.
"You mean since Mindy doesn't exist. I'll remember this, Harrington." You ruffled his hair lightly with your free hand. "Also, dont worry about it. I can still cover. I need the money anyway so just keep the night off." Before he could protest, you twisted the knob and pushed the door open. You braced yourself for the mouthful of silly insults and questions Robin was about to bombard you both with, as if she was actually angry. And just as you suspected, you couldn't even get through the door before she grabbed your arm and yanked you back to the couch, pulling you down next to her as she started in with the interrogation.
Steve stepped in right behind you, watching as Robin hauled you off to the living room. Making sure he was truly alone for the moment, he let out a dejected sigh and closed the door behind him. He stayed planted in front of the door and monitored your conversation from afar. Robin waved her arms wildly at you in mock annoyance. He could barely make out what was being said, finding himself just out of earshot, but he had a few ideas.
In his opinion, you seemed to be handling Robin's interrogation gracefully. That was until Robin's eyes finally landed on him and she jabbed a finger in his direction. "AND YOU! I HAVE A BONE TO PICK WITH YOU TOO!" He snickered and shoved his hands in his pockets, sauntering over to join the two of you on the couch to accept his verbal punishment. There was never a dull moment, which could get overwhelming at times. But he knew he wouldn't trade these moments for anything. He couldn't help the smile spreading over his face as he attempted to comfort himself. 'Maybe next time, Harrington.'

Can I request some poly! Shigadabihawks x reader if you don’t mind. You have amazing writing and you have written some amazing poly! I don’t care if it’s sfw and/or nsfw, it’s totally up to you. I honestly kinda wanted to see how hawks and Shigaraki got along in a poly relationship and how they interacted with each other because I can imagine how Dabi and hawks get along or dabi and shigaraki but hawks and Shigaraki would have a odd relationship, y’know. Sorry if this is odd and you don’t know what I’m talking about and I just want you to know that I absolutely love your work. You’re the first person I check everyday when I get on tumblr. 😘
Awwwww!!! You are so sweet, thank you so much!!! Yeah this makes a lot of sense, for the demon au especially I’ve been trying to work on showing off the dynamic between Hawks and Shig. I hope headcanons are okay!
| SFW
- Before you enter the mix, Dabi is really the only holding them together. He started off dating Tomura (who still insists he barely even likes him, usually after they finish making out) and then later Kei joined in. You’re still not sure how it all came to be since you get a different answer depending on who you ask and what mood they’re in.
- Tomura is only a bit tsundere with Dabi and Kei, never you. With you he’s more openly clingy and would never deny how he feels. He wouldn’t say it, but he appreciates you being around whenever Dabi and Keigo make him feel like a third wheel. Keigo has some similar experiences, but he’s just genuinely not bothered whenever Dabi wants to go have some solo time with Tomura. Or you, for that matter. Just isn’t the jealous type.
- They like using you to fuck with each other. If you’re hanging out with Dabi there’s a good chance Keigo will come along and just flat out steal you. Just pick you up and walk off. Because he can. Dabi is fond of teasing Tomura about how much he likes you, despite clearly also liking you. Tomura’s go-to is usually also to steal you, however he likes to get you to come willingly so you’ll blow off whoever you were with to start.
- Keigo and Tomura get along best when teaming up to irritate Dabi. Whether it’s playing keep away with you, hiding his stuff, distracting him when he’s trying to brood and do Dabi stuff, they really enjoy the power of their combined effects on him.
- The three of them teaming up to irritate you is what really gets them cooperating. They’re all gremlins, they steal your clothes to force you into skirts with no panties, they move your stuff around so you have to ask them for help, and that’s without getting into how often they fight over you, although that’s not so much to annoy you.
- Dabi developed a little habit of calling you, Tomura, and Kei his sluts and now he does it no matter who’s around and it’s really embarrassing but he absolutely does not care.
- While most of the time it’s Dabi and you holding Tomura and Keigo together, it’s not uncommon to find just the two of them off by themselves bonding over a common interest or even occasionally making out.
- They each have their own rooms, but you don’t. You bounce between theirs and your stuff is always scattered around. Yes, it’s annoying. No, they won’t let you have your own room. The four of you typically end up sharing one bed anyway, although the room itself changes.
- They’re not shy about the relationship, so it’s fairly often you get teased (albeit lovingly) about having three boyfriends. Toga really likes trying to force you to pick a favorite.
- Everyone thinks it’s creepy. Everyone. But Kei started calling you their “little girl” and just never stopped.
- They don’t really do PDA between themselves aside from the odd hand holding or rare peck on the cheek, but when it comes to you all bets are off. You’re constantly perched in someone’s lap or holding a hand or having your clothes fixed by someone else. To everyone else it mostly looks like they toss you around.
- Sometimes they’ll take you on dates, switching between doing them one on one or with the whole group. It’s hard to get Tomura to go out, though, since he prefers stay at home dates. When he’s not feeling it you’ll usually end up in a blanket fort eating takeout all together.
- One time. one. time. some stranger muttered “slut” under his breath when he saw you walking along in public with them. Dabi charred his ass so fast the other two were pissed at him for not being able to get a hit in.
- Despite all of them being gremlins, they really love you and will 10/10 go out of their way to make sure you know that. Literally anything upsets you and the immediate response is “Tell me why you’re not happy and I will kill it.”
- Most of their more genuine affections are shown in little things they do. Keigo likes to get you guys things, especially snacks he knows you like since he can go in public freely. Dabi is constantly fixing your clothes and hair and making sure everyone’s comfortable. Tomura always touches you softly (outside of the bedroom), always brushing his fingers along your cheeks or resting his head on your shoulder, etc. He’s also the most likely to casually touch the others in public.
- When it’s cold everyone piles up on Dabi and he pretends he hates it, but you always catch him smiling when he thinks no one’s looking.
- Kei loves using his feathers to tease everyone, slipping them under clothes before you can stop them or making them flit around your face. It’s annoying but his laugh is so cute you can’t even be mad at him.
- Tomura’s face always lights up before he can stop it when one of you comes to play videogames with him. He’s really bad at hiding how excited and happy it makes him.
- Since you’re the only girl and they’re kind of sexist, they treat you a lot softer than they treat each other. Doesn’t matter how strong you are, they’ll always think you’re weaker and they need to protect you. It might not seem like it when they’re teasing the hell out of you or tying you up or spanking you, but they go way easier on you than they would on each other in the same situation.
- Literally any sign from you that you’re seriously upset or overwhelmed? Done. No more. Only soft affection and very mild teasing for the week.
| NSFW
- The first time Kei joined in while Dabi and Tomura were fucking, he didn’t even participate. He just watched like a fucking creep. Still does that occasionally.
- They all have relatively high drives and absolutely no shame between each other, so it’s pretty often you’re just casually getting fucked in one of their rooms while another sits on the couch beside you and watches TV. May or may not comment on it.
- Sometimes they’ll make bets about you. See who can get you to cum the fastest one week or try testing how long it takes for you to come to them when they don’t initiate it and which one you pick. How much cum they can stuff you with and plug up before it starts leaking out. And so on.
- It’s very different if it’s just one of them, or if it’s two and which two, etc.
- Dabi likes to manhandle you. He takes his time, makes you wait and beg and then just completely destroys you for hours on end. After, he sits back with a cigarette and lets you cling to him while he strokes you and tells you you did a good job. It pleases him when you’re so fucked out you can’t form full sentences, and he’ll tease you for it for days.
- Keigo is similar in that he likes to tease, but he’s also sadistic. He’ll make you cum on his tongue and fingers until you’re begging him to stop and then he’ll force at least two more orgasms out of you on his dick. Afterwards he watches you twitch and leak his spunk for a minute before giving you god-tier aftercare. Runs a bath, gets you some water, etc. Once you’re clean he encourages you to take a nap, but it’s usually an excuse for him to take a nap because he’s also worn out but trying to hide it.
- Tomura gets too excited to tease for very long, but that’s only directly before the sex. He’ll have his hand shoved in your panties just toying with you for hours while he absently scrolls on his phone. Sometimes he’ll have you get yourself ready where he can see, only to completely ignore you until you let him know he can start. Once he’s going, though, he’s done with all that. He’s drooling, panting, flushed, pounding you into next week. He alternates between kissing you and spitting in your mouth because he’s too wound up to just pick a mood most of the time.
- That’s not to say you don’t have lots of times where it’s intimate and loving, but that’s not really the usual.
- The Dabi/Tomura combination is the more nasty of the three. Kei isn’t opposed to doing stuff to make you squirm when he’s in the mood but Dabi and Tomura l i v e for that shit. They’re almost nightmarish together, 100% okay with piss, impact play, period stuff, all things anal, etc. Of course you’re their girlfriend and they love you so they’re not about to do something that has you screaming or crying for real, but if you’re at least mostly okay with it and they’re confident it’s not breaking you, they’ll do pretty much anything. Anything to get you teary-eyed, begging them to stop, etc. as long as you’re not saying the safeword. For aftercare they’re very gentle and soft as they clean you up and put you to bed. Doesn’t matter what time of day it happened, they’re putting you in bed and snuggling you until you get at least an hour of sleep. When you wake up they’ll get you something to eat and make sure they didn’t hurt you beyond the usual cuts, bruises, and assorted mild scorching.
- Dabi and Kei usually go for more of a good cop/bad cop sort of arrangement. Doesn’t seem so bad until you figure out they switch the roles without any indication of having done that. It’s like they have a sixth sense for it or something. You’ll be crying and clinging to Keigo since he’s been nice so far only for him to bend you over his knee and spank you raw for it; meanwhile Dabi has gone from smacking you around and spewing filth to cooing and stroking your face. Their aftercare is mostly praise, they’ll tell you you did well and make sure you’re okay mentally since some of the stuff they say can get pretty intense. They’ll get you cleaned up and make sure you eat and drink water, and they’ll cuddle as long as you want and won’t go anywhere even if you fall asleep.
- Tomura and Keigo are the most interesting mix. It’s not often that it happens, but when it does they work surprisingly well together. Their different types of degeneracy and patience seem to blur together into a lethal combination that’ll have you getting whiplash from how they toss you back and forth. They’re not usually both participating at the same time; someone has to hold the camera, after all. Aftercare usually consists of a shower, snacks, and either you napping on their laps while they game together or joining in if they didn’t rock your shit too hard. On days when they’ve done this, you’ll notice the two of them interacting more and occasionally taking some time to be alone together…
- When it’s all of them you’re fucking in for it. Depending on the mood it can vary wildly, but for the most part it’s just a complete mass of writhing limbs and moans. You’re tired ten minutes in, more of the focus is on you than anything, you’re forced to cum over and over again, they each cum in or on you at least twice, and when it’s all said and done you’re covered in sweat, cum, possibly blood, and three sweaty, spent bodies. Usually after they have to peel your limp, half-conscious body off the bed and carry you to the bath. They’ll take great care of you, not that you’ll really remember it in your sorry state, and when you wake up the next day they’re more doting than usual. They’ll tease a little about how you’re sore and still just a little out of it, but that doesn’t mean they’re not checking on you and being extra attentive.
- The times when it’s all of you together but in a more romantic way, it’s like being surrounded by pure love. Everyone’s kissing, you’re all tangled together, it’s just really soft and intimate. Doesn’t last as long, but it’s insanely sweet and gooey. When finished, there’s lots of soft caring/cleaning up/cuddling for a while but it doesn’t have the same insane recovery time as usual. After everyone’s taken care of, the guys like to try pretending everything is normal, but it’s obvious they’re more clingy than usual. Definitely all sleeping together in a pile on nights like that.
- Sometimes one will join in just for aftercare. Kei enjoys seeing you a fucked-out little mess, so he’s always happy to help if it means he can see you destroyed for a minute first. Dabi likes the feeling of being needed and being able to care for someone, so he’ll help, especially cleaning you up and getting you dressed. Tomura loves the way you cling after, and likes to cuddle and nap, so he’ll come in late to the aftercare just for that.

I'd recently been learning about Sonic X out of curiosity lately and been wondering why the character Chris was extremely hated by many; so I went to TV Tropes and found this under Unintentionally Unsympathetic:
Pretty much no one has ever sympathized with Chris over being a Lonely Rich Kid caused by the absences of his parents. While he's meant to be painted as such, fans don't really buy it due to him always being shown to have a average social life while having good relationships with his friends and family such as his grandpa. And the anime didn't show just how lonely Chris' life was before he met Sonic aside from a brief clip fifty episodes in. All of which makes Chris look like an Informed Loner who doesn't really seem to have the kind of life that would make him such a needy and clingy person.
Hmm, I wonder who this reminds me of?
This might be an unpopular opinion (I’m not that familiar with Sonic X discourse), but personally, I think Chris is a worse character than Adrien.
With Adrien, you can clearly tell he has a miserable life being forced to do whatever his father needs him to do, in addition to the whole Sentimonster thing.
With Chris, he has a far better life by comparison. He has a lot of friends, and both parents, while busy, seem to care for their son and hate that they barely get to see him. Sure, it doesn’t excuse how often they’re absent from his life, but it’s clear that they still love their son. It really doesn’t do a good job showcasing how important of a friend Sonic is to Chris, especially since Sonic typically tends to prefer solitude instead of hanging out with Chris.
He’s also arguably more entitled to Sonic’s attention than Adrien is with Ladybug’s. Towards the end of the second season, due to the presence of Sonic and his friends in the human world, time itself was starting to come to a standstill, meaning that they had to go back to their homeworld. What does Chris do? Just when the others go through the portal home, Chris turns it off and pretty much kidnaps Sonic. Sure, he admits he was wrong, but it’s hard to take his claims of “being alone again” seriously before Sonic leaves for real.

Of course! here you go <3
Mochi
Gojo Satoru x reader
Warnings: none! entirely fluff! this will quite literally rot your teeth. afab reader
a/n: this ended up being a little longer than I intended lol whoops
Word Count: 2.5k
Satoru Gojo is a busy man.
The strongest can't really take a break. He’s on call 24/7. People are pulling him in all directions simultaneously. With everything that's been going on, between the mess with Sukuna, and everything happening at the school, he’s been short on time.
He needs a break.
He's more tired than he lets on. He’s good at hiding it. Especially around his students. It's hard to pull him away from his work. He's insistent that he’s fine. When you’re around someone for so long, you learn to pick up when they aren't. He can pretend to be fine all he wants. You know otherwise.
Sometimes what the strongest needs is someone to boss him around.
He’s capable of taking care of himself. He’s proven that already. But worrying is in your nature. You care about him, of course you’re going to worry.
You were a first year when you met him, having just transfered schools after an incident involving a curse. In a matter of weeks your life had seemingly been flipped on its head. The switch took some time to get used to. Switching schools your first year, let alone switching to this one in particular, was never going to be easy. Getting used to the way Jujutsu society worked took a while. He was a year above you, and you remember absolutely hating him. Gojo was insufferable- or you found him to be such. But he was friends with Nanami, who was a friend of yours, so you reluctantly hung out with him. Nanami, being in the same year as you, was the first to help you out, extending a hand and helping you get used to the way things worked.
Spending time with him didn't do much to change your views. The two of you couldn't have been more different. You still are. But something about opposites attracts.
The first time you gave him the benefit of the doubt was the first time he saved your life.
It may be a bit of an over exaggeration. You’re certain you would have survived without his help, but that could also be an attempt to preserve your pride. You went after a curse, not expecting it to be as strong as it was. As far as you knew, it shouldn't have been stronger than a grade three. Being a grade two at the time, this should have been well in your ability. There ended up being more than one curse, and they were stronger than anyone had realized. You were in over your head.
It wasn't your fault. You couldn't have known. It's not like you could pick and choose which curses you fought. As a student, that was decided for you.
You had resigned to your fate, separated from the others, injured. Nothing fatal. It left a cool scar, though. But you were well out of your league, put on an assignment far harder than you could deal with. You hate to admit defeat, but you had no other option.
Out of what seemed like thin air came Gojo, taking out both curses like it was nothing. Despite not liking him all that much, it was hard to not be impressed. He was strong. Stronger than you could ever hope to be.
You made it home in one piece.
It was three days before you’d finally confront him.
Getting him alone was hard enough. Being an underclassman, you didn't interact with him a whole lot. You didn't have any classes together. The few times you ran into him were when you hung out with Nanami, who was gone at the time.
When the opportunity presented itself, you took it, cornering him behind the school.
Even back then it was impossible to sneak up on him. He could sense you coming.
“Jesus-” he said, referring to you by your last name, “you look like you want to kill me.”
“You helped me out.” You said. “Why?”
He only shrugged. Not wanting to take that for an answer, you followed him. You were insistent you paid him back. You’d never let a debt like that go unpaid. The first debts are always the hardest to pay back. And when a first debt involves saving your life, well, you’ve got a lifetime to pay back. You only left once Gojo showed up. He needed to talk to Gojo about something, and although you were curious, you didn't feel like sticking around.
Gojo spent the next couple days scheming. You were determined enough you would do just about anything. He could have easily abused his power. It would have been even easier to force you to drop it, but something told him you weren't about to take no for an answer.
You wouldn't.
3pm in the bathrooms. It was hardly a week later. Your last class had ended for the day. You had snuck cigarettes in, blowing the smoke out of the crack in the window. You don't smoke anymore, but you went through nearly a pack a day in high school. There wasn't a specific brand you liked—you didn't necessarily like smoking, but you did it when you were stressed—you just used whatever you got ahold of.
You didn't hear the door open. Gojo wasn't the sneaky type, but he could be when he wanted. You weren't too hard to sneak up on.
If you didn't have contraband that likely would have gotten you expelled, you would have screamed when you saw him. He scared you, not to mention he snuck into the girl’s bathrooms. The two of you would be in equally deep shit if you reported the other. So at that moment you came to a silent agreement.
“You still want to pay me back?” He asked. “Cause I have an idea.”
You perked up at his words.
“Get me mochi from that shop just down the road. You know the one that just opened up?” He asked. “Bring me some and I’ll call us even.”
“That's it?” You asked. It was almost anticlimactic. But despite everything, he was insistent.
Gojo hasn't changed a whole lot since then.
He still has his sweet tooth. He still makes you get him mochi from that shop. It feels like you’re the ones keeping it in business nowadays.
You’re not quite sure who made the first move.
Soon you began spending more time together away from Nanami and Geto. You got along better than anyone—mostly you—ever expected. You weren't the most outwardly affectionate. While you were far from shy, pda wasn't really your thing. Gojo is the opposite. Even now, years after you began dating, he’s still clingy. You’ve gotten used to it. Gojo is possessive, he wants everyone to know you’re his. Not that they don't know already. He can't shut up about you.
Getting him alone has always been hard. Not much has changed in the past few years. He’s only gotten busier. Try to drag him away from work all you want, you rarely succeed.
Tonight he's come willingly. He finished his work early, and all you had left was stuff you could finish in the morning.
Nights at home like this—together—are rare. It feels like you hardly see him anymore. You often fall asleep alone, only to wake up to the other side of the bed being cold. He’s been so occupied with this business with Yuji, that he’s hardly had time for anything else. You sneak away during your breaks, like you’re teenagers again, stealing kisses between classes. You almost don't know what to do.
It almost feels like you should do something to celebrate.
The lights are off when you get home. Your apartment looks empty. Megumi must still be out with his friends.
“What should we do for dinner?” Gojo asks.
“Takeout?” You say. "I don't feel like cooking."
Gojo’s a decent cook, but he doesn't feel like doing so either. He’d get takeout every night if you’d let him. But that's not good for him (or Megumi) so you force him to do otherwise. Because you’re normally home, and you like baking, you’re usually the one to make dinner. There's not much in the fridge. You'll have to get groceries eventually. Not tonight. Maybe tomorrow. It shouldn't take long.
“How does Korean barbeque sound?" He asks. "From that place down the street?”
"Sounds good,"
You find a menu buried in one of your kitchen drawers, stashed with other takeout menus. You pick out something—two meals, plus some sweet buns for dessert—he calls the restaurant. You pay the extra cash to have it delivered. Neither of you feel like going and picking it up. It's more convenient than the alternative.
The tv drones on in the background while you wait. There’s not much on tv at this hour. News, some late night soaps. While you do like your occasional soap opera, none that you normally watch are on. Gojo changes it to the news. The weather. It looks like it'll rain tomorrow morning, but the rest of the day is supposed to be warm.
"We should go to the park tomorrow," you say, "having a picnic sounds nice."
Gojo hums in approval. As long as you make those tea cakes—the ones with honey drizzled on top—he'll agree to tag along. Maybe you'll go check out the bookstore too. It's been a while since you've last gone.
You strip out of your uniform, pulling on some more comfortable clothes; a pair of shorts and one of Gojo's shirts. It smells like him. You can't help but bury your nose in the collar.
When there’s a knock at the door, Gojo is the one to answer. He returns with your food. You gather napkins and utensils. Gojo never saw the point in anything other than stainless steel chopsticks. Or wooden ones—those given to you with takeout—if he wasn't feeling up to doing dishes. You, on the other hand, bought all sorts of colorful ones and stands that may or may not have been lifted from various restaurants. That's one habit from your teenage years you never lost. You'd pocket almost anything that wasn't nailed down. Your apartment has a rather impressive assortment of salt and pepper shakers. Not to mention the box of hotel soaps you never use, but took because you "might" need it. He enables you, taking some whenever he stays out of town, bringing them home for you. Gojo can hardly say no to you.
Gojo settles next to you on the couch, his shoulder pressed to yours. He can't keep his hands off of you. He’s possessive by nature. Everyone has to know you’re his. He always has to be touching you. Not necessarily with his hands, but he presses his thigh against yours while sitting next to you, or his body pressed against yours from behind in public.
The two of you eat in relative silence. Gojo’s attention turns to the tv, but that doesn't stop him from practically laying on top of you. Occasionally he’ll sneak bites of your food, and you of his.
When you’re done, you clear away the empty containers, sitting any leftovers in the fridge. Gojo sprawls out on the couch. He easily takes up any bit of space. The couch can hardly fit all 6-foot-something of Gojo. It hardly fits you. You've been meaning to look for another one, but haven't found the time to.
He opens his arms, and instinctively you go into them. You move so you can rest partially against the arm of the couch, Gojo's head leaning against your shoulder. His arms loop around your waist, his fingers lacing over your stomach.
It doesn't take him long to begin to drift off. He falls asleep in the crook of your neck. The low sound of the tv, combined with the warmth of his body makes you want to drift off to sleep. Sleeping on the couch like this isn't very good for your (or his) back, but you don't want to move.
The next time your eyes open, some late night game show plays, disturbing your sleep with loud music. The clock on the wall reads some time past two. It's hard to read the minute hand. You gently shake Gojo awake. One of his eyes cracks open and he lets out a soft “hm?”
“Come to bed,” you say, your arms wrapping around his neck, “it's late.”
His eyes close, and for a moment you think he’s drifted back off to sleep, when his grip around you tightens, and he’s rolling over on top of you.
“I think I’ll stay here with you, mochi,” he says, planting a wet kiss to your neck. The feeling of his lips on your neck makes you shiver.
And though he doesn't move, there's a look in his eyes that tells you he has something planned. You only notice too late that his grip never loosens, and the mischievous glint to his eyes. You couldn't wiggle out of it if you wanted to. You're effectively trapped.
He litters your neck with kisses, sending you into a giggling fit, and he doesn't stop until you’re begging him to. Tears prick at the corners of your eyes from laughing. Your nails dig into your palms so hard they leave little crescent-shaped indents.
When you finally settle down, he’s pulling you into his arms bridal style, heading for your shared room. The bed is still unmade from this morning. Neither of you bothered to put it away. You were busy, and the thought slipped your mind.
Gojo shoves the covers aside, pulling you to lay on his chest. His fingers gently trace up the curve of your spine as he watches the steady rise and fall of your chest. Goosebumps prickle your exposed skin. He’s careful with how he touches you, loving, and soft. It's like he’s trying to memorize every inch of your body. His heartbeat is audible. Steady, and quet, acting as a lullaby. Your eyes shut, but you’re still awake. The intimacy of the moment doesn't go over your head.
He thinks he could die happy at this moment. Any moment, with you, really. Even during fights, or nights where he doesn't come home until long after you’ve fallen asleep, and you’re left irritated with his lack of time. As long as you’re by his side, he’s content.
He doesn't give much to the thought of settling down. His work will never let him. Neither does he think much about having any biological children. You practically have two already. Settling down isn't really an option for the strongest. This is the closest he’ll get to it.
For now, he just thinks about the park, and the blue sundress you always wear when you go.
Not many people can say they’ve changed who Satoru Gojo is as a person—let alone for the better—but you’ve changed him twice. Once in your meeting behind the school, and once again tonight. He’s found the one.
The first debt is always the hardest to pay back. But you've paid it in full.

☕️ not really a topic but i would LOVE it if you try to convince someone who has not seen a single episode of x files (me) to watch x files
thank you for this dream assignment. I’m unhinging my jaw now.
Mulder and Scully aren’t like their reputations. they get talked about like these big ideas—the Believer and the Skeptic—but they are so not dry or one-dimensional or anything else that you might be expecting. they’re the most human characters I’ve ever seen on screen. Scully is curious and earnest and so eager to succeed, but she throws away her definition of success to do the right thing (and because she’s a little rebel. I’m not spoiling anything beyond the first few minutes of the pilot to say that she’s assigned to Mulder to spy on him, but she likes and respects him too much to do it). Mulder is hardworking, kind, restless. so idealistic it looks selfish. he sees his lost sister in every victim. he has trouble sleeping, and I love that it’s not part of the plot. it’s just part of him. some procedurals don’t like to go home with the characters at the end of the day. The X-Files feels like it’s always going home with Mulder and Scully, even when they’re on the road.
every good thing about the show goes through them. that’s the whole point of the story: you think the truth is “out there,” but it isn’t—it’s in other people. and that might sound sentimental or obvious, but The X-Files makes you feel how heavy it is to love and be loved. a lot of Mulder and Scully’s connection is unspoken. and yes, sometimes that gives them communication issues, which I personally think is very sexy and interesting of them, but it’s also so powerful. here are these two people whose job forces them to question everything about the world, but they don’t question each other.
I know I’m getting very Always Sunny conspiracy board about this, but nothing else feels like The X-Files. it’s a mood at the highest level. the whole philosophy behind the show is that knowing there’s a monster in the shadows is scarier and more interesting than seeing that monster. the most powerful things are the ones that can’t really be understood or explained. it’s the same with Mulder and Scully. Chris Carter, the creator, fought so hard against making them romantic, but the joke is on him for a lot of reasons, like (1) he cast David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, who have more chemistry than anyone else on this sad little planet and who like kissing for fun, (2) nothing is more romantic than an intellectual partnership between equals based on trust and mutual respect, and (3) the more he refused to define their relationship with words, the more powerful he inadvertently made it, because, again, the most important things are too big for words. it’s like the show respects Mulder and Scully’s connection too much to try to explain it.
The X-Files made me realize how sick I am of bickering on TV. a lot of shows want us to think that love looks like a little boy pulling a girl’s hair on the playground. but Mulder and Scully have a friendship between adults. they like each other. I know I literally just went on about how their relationship is so powerful it transcends the bounds of fiction etc., but it’s not stuffy. there’s a fun little kernel of madness and codependence at the center of their relationship, which I love because I love watching women in fiction pick their own poison. and Scully’s is Mulder. they’re a little bit mutually destructive with each other, but they’re even more self-destructive on their own. it’s compelling.
shifting to a different corner of my conspiracy board. Mulder and Scully are as great as they are because The X-Files understands exactly where they fit in the world of the show and what brings them together: their shared integrity in the face of the FBI’s manipulation. The X-Files is really about the abuses committed by the government; the villains are men in suits who would do anything to hold on to the power they feel slipping away. this show can go hard when it wants to. I can’t and don’t want to absolve it for being written and directed almost exclusively by white men, which comes through in all kinds of toxic ways. but as far as cop shows go its perspective on the world holds up impressively well—better than shows that are on right now. I can think of a hundred ways The X-Files could have been a better version of itself, but every other show still wants what it has.
even when The X-Files is bad it’s good. sometimes the frustrating things about it only make it more interesting. it’s a show that draws you in; it makes you part of the process of interpreting what’s happening and assigning meaning to it. there wasn’t a writers’ room for the writers to communicate with each other (a concept), which means the story can sometimes feel fragmented, but that also gave the show the capacity to look at Mulder and Scully through a lot of different lenses, which ultimately only makes them more vibrant. they can fit into a comedy or a tragedy or a thriller. they can be unbearably sentimental one week (or one scene) and unbearably withholding the next. but that’s real. people are inconsistent. it also makes it possible for the monster-of-the-week episodes to keep getting better and more inventive even as the mythology starts to fall apart. the great standalone episodes are like short stories, and even the worst ones have Mulder and Scully.
I don’t find The X-Files scary in a jump-scare kind of way; it’s cozy, and it’s got a powerful sense of wonder at the the world. but it does get at the creeping horror of realizing the world doesn’t make sense. what makes the story hopeful is that Mulder and Scully keep trying to make sense of it anyway. they tear down everything they thought they knew because the comfort of a lie is less important than the truth. I just love that the little grey men and the UFOs and the tractor beams all look exactly like you’d expect them to, but belief still isn’t easy. it’s not a show about what exactly real-ass aliens might look like. it’s about how the truth can be really simple and really hard to accept at the same time.
#anon#i can practically feel you training a high-powered rifle on me as we speak#this is too long and possibly nonsense and I made you wait a day and a half and I'm sorry!!#BUT if you're reading this and if you do watch txf please keep me posted#txf#msr#xf thoughts

The price of magic.
Supercorp, Kara Danvers x Daughter!Reader, Lena Luthor x Daughter!Reader
Word Count: 2210.
Turns out the price of magic was higher than you had anticipated. You’ve been away for more than a year, but for your family it was nothing but a week. Sure they’ve missed you and they were out there looking for you with no clue of where you could have gone. But for you?
A year in Storybrooke was experiencing your life as you’ve always imagined. Being yourself in its totality. No Luthor name hanging over your head, no hiding yourself behind glasses or a red and blue superhero suit. It was being both Kryptonian and human at the same time, with no fear of judgment or dislike.
Storybrooke was like going on a super long vacation; so long it made you forget all of your problems. But that doesn’t mean that your problems went away. They came back as soon as you stepped foot in National City.
The price of magic was feeling guilty for being happier somewhere else. It was walking into your bedroom and feeling at home but also somehow not at all. It was walking around the craziness of National City and feeling suffocated like you’re in a crowded room full of empty faces. It was missing the words ‘honey’ and ‘sweetheart’ when people were referring to you. It was having a crazy number of options of take-out food but wanting nothing except the food in Granny’s diner.
And you weren’t the only one to pay the price. You can feel how high it was for Kara and Lena too.
“Mom?” You sit up on the bed, looking at Lena standing in your bedroom watching you sleep. “What are you doing creeping over my bed at-” You look at your alarm clock. “3 in the morning?”
“I had to be sure you were still here.” Lena says, sounding small and scared.
“Mom, I’m not going to disappear from my bedroom in the middle of the night.” You say, trying to reassure her, but it backfires you.
“You can’t blame me for thinking that, because you did.” She holds your arm, and you hear the cry in her cracked voice.
“Would you feel better if you stayed here with me?” You make space for her. Lena hum in agreement, lying next to you. “I’m sorry.”
“I’m even more.” She kisses the back of your hand. “A whole year without us. You were probably so scared we weren’t looking for you.”
“I knew you were.”
“You got so tall, and we weren’t even there to see it!” Lena complains and you give her a sad little smile, even though she can’t see your face at all in the darkness of your bedroom.
“Well, I chose a weird age to have a growth spurt .” You joke, but you don’t get a laugh in return. You sort of always knew when you would get taller. It was the same with Kara. You were always very anxious to turn 17, because that was the age she actually grew more. But the weird thing is that you’re not really 17 now. Like Kara is not really 70.
“Come here.” Lena hugs you and you settle back. You’re almost drifting off to sleep when she whispers. “Don’t ever leave again.”
You can’t promise that you won’t. Stranger things have happened in your life, you don’t really feel like you have control over that anymore. And weird as it may seem, you also don’t want to have control over that. Because if you had, if you could have chosen, you probably wouldn’t have met some of the people that you love so much now.
“Hey!” You walk in the kitchen, to both Kara and Lena still having breakfast despite how late already is. “What are you two doing?”
“Having breakfast.” Kara explains, like it isn’t obvious.
You look at the clock. “It’s nine.” You raise an eyebrow at them. “And it’s Monday.”
“Yes.” Lena agrees.
“On Mondays you go to work, and Kara does her usual Kara’ stuff.”
“You were gone for a week. Even if L Corp burned down in flames I wouldn’t leave your side today.” Lena answers you, and you smile softly. You look at Kara next.
“Oh, well, if L Corp was burning up in flames I probably would have to go to put out the fire.” She says but adds in a hurry. “But I would be here five seconds later!”
“Ok.” You chuckle. “I thought I would go see Jamie and Maya on their lunch break, but if you two want me to stay-”
“No! Baby, no. Go see your cousin and your girlfriend. They were missing you too.” Lena hands you your phone. “There’s a lot of texts from them.”
“Oh, a phone! God I haven’t had one in a while.” You smile scrolling through your messages, ignoring your moms questioning looks.
“So, maybe you could tell us how was your life there.” Kara asks, but you’re too distracted with your phone to notice. You haven’t used one in a while, not because there weren’t phones in Storybrooke, but because you didn’t need them. It was a super small city, you could find anyone easily, and because Emma and Charming were sheriffs, you all used radio transmitters to talk. “Hey? Little one, helloooo.”
“Sorry momma.” You put your phone down. “What did you say?”
“We want to know about your life there. I mean, for us it wasn’t that long, but for you it was a whole year. You probably did lots of things.” Kara says and you agree with your head.
“Yeah, I guess.” You shrug. “I used to help mom Emma out with the saving, and oh, mom Regina helped me with my panic attacks. And I’m a lot better at controlling them! Henry and I used to watch this awesome TV show that I probably won’t ever know how it ends now. And grandma taught me archery.”
“Oh, that sounds-” Lena thinks about it for a second. “Fun.”
“Yeah. It was so great. And every night all of us would get together at Granny’s diner and talk about our days, and sometimes I would go hang out with Belle in the library, so I read all the books there. And if I had stayed a little bit longer and turned 18 there, then grandpa would’ve taught me how to use a gun.”
“A little bit? It would’ve been a whole other year!”
“For me, I guess.” You shrug again. “Just another week for you. And I would’ve been cursed anyway, so it wouldn’t feel so bad.”
“Wait. Wait. Wait.” Kara stops you, looking confused. “You wanted to stay?”
“No!” You think about it for a second. “Not stay. No. Just-you know-If I had perhaps stayed longer then yeah, it would’ve been fun to learn that.”
“You can learn how to use a gun here!” Kara says, and Lena furrows her brows.
“No, she can’t.” She looks at you. “No, you can’t. Maybe when you’re older.”
“Right. Moms wouldn’t let me touch a gun either.”
“We are your moms.” It’s out of Kara’s mouth like she hadn’t given much thought to it. But you know she has, because she looks stung. You’ve noticed how she flinched every time you referred to Regina and Emma as moms, but it’s out of your mouth before you can stop yourself to think about it. For a year that’s what you’ve been saying every day. It’s hard to call them just anything else. Almost disrespectful even. But you don’t want to make Kara and Lena upset, so you have to watch out for that.
You try to say something after that. But it’s like your mind keeps erasing itself. ‘Ok, fine, sorry, sure you are momma!’ are all things that almost make it out of your mouth. Instead, you settle for, “Can I have some M&M pancakes?”
“Sure, babygirl.” Lena gets up and gets behind the counter. You go back to your phone, too embarrassed to look at Kara again. She doesn’t say anything about it either.
You talk about other things. They tell you how crazy it was to find you, and what they did all week while you were gone. Apparently it was mostly crying and blaming themselves for your disappearance.
“Hey, where are you going?”
“To school. To see Jamie and Maya.”
“Where are your glasses?” Kara asks and you touch your face to realize that you haven’t been wearing them at all.
“Ugh.” You grunt and mumble right after. “I hate those stupid glasses. Can’t believe I have to wear them again.”
You run to your bedroom and find an old pair tossed around. Stupid disguise. Stupid glasses. Stupid secret identity.
“Ok. Can I go now?” You ask when you make it back to the living room.
Lena lets out a forced smile out of her lips, and Kara gives you the most awkward thumbs up in history. Well, there’s a lot to unpack there. So maybe leave it for later.
“Hey!”
“No way in hell!” It’s Jamie’s first response when she sees you in front of your old school. “You grew taller in a week?”
“Something like that.” You smile finally looking down on her. Rao, it feels so good to finally be taller than Jamie. You’ve been hearing about it for years! “Hey, babe.”
“Holy fuck, look at you!” Maya says with the biggest smile on her face. “I don’t see you for a week and you show up here looking like a superhero!”
“Well…” You give her a little side flirty smile. “Is that a good thing?”
“You look great, babe.” Maya’s arms go around your neck and she tiptoes to kiss your mouth. You hold her by the waist, making it easier for her to kiss you.
“God, I’ve missed kissing you.” You let out after you part your lips.
“It’s been a week, stop being so melodramatic.” Jamie rolls her eyes, and you smile, letting go of Maya to hug her too.
“I’ve missed you too, dipshit.”
“Oh.” Jamie lets out a surprised sound. “I guess you’re not so dramatic then.”
You want to tell them, right there, about how it was not just a week. About your different life in the past year. But the girls from your school who used to bully you pass right next to you, and your heart beats faster anticipating the teasing.
But they don’t say a thing. In fact, what they say after they pass you, and you catch using your super hearing, is that you must be a new student. You smile, relieved. Getting taller and cutting your hair. You wish you had known it would make your life a lot easier.
“Ice-cream?” You smile at them and get positive responses at that. Two hours with them and it feels like you’ve never left. Feels good to be with them. It makes you remember that even though your life in National City is not always easy, it’s still pretty great. And that you shouldn’t take that for granted.
You and Jamie walk Maya home, and you’re not even scared of her parents' reaction anymore. It’s not like they’ll recognize you, anyway. And later, you fly Jamie back to her house. You say a quick hello to Alex and Kelly, then fly back home.
“Hey.” You throw yourself on the couch between your moms, with a smile on your face. You look at the box of donuts in front of them, just sitting there waiting for you to arrive and your smile grows wider. “Sorry I was gone for a while. But can I make it up to you both with some hugs and forehead kisses?”
“Oh! Me first!” Kara asks and you smile, throwing your arms around her, and resting your chin on her shoulders.
“You’re my mommy. No one will ever take that away from you.” You whisper in her ear, and feel Kara’s body fully relax in your embrace, while she lets out a relieved sigh.
“I love you more than words can explain it, kid.” You smile and let her go a little, just to look into her eyes.
“I know the words.” You rest your forehead against hers and smile. “You’re my heart.”
“You’re my heart, little one.”
“Can I get a sweet moment like this too?” Lena asks and you chuckle, pulling her close for a tight hug.
“You also don’t have to worry about anyone taking your place.” You say softly in her ear. “You carried me inside of you for nine months, and I’ll carry you inside of me for the rest of my life.”
“Oh God.” Lena says, choking up and wetting the back of your t-shirt with her tears. “I swear this is the loveliest thing someone has ever told me.”
“It’s true.” You smile and kiss her forehead right after. “I love you mom.”
“Oh, I love you, babygirl.”
“And we’re stronger together.” You say, and feel their arms go around you at the same time, in a family hug.
Sure you will miss being called ‘honey’ and ‘sweetheart’, but nothing beats being called ‘little one’ and ‘babygirl’. And nothing ever will. National City may not make you feel as good as Storybrooke did, but the people here surely make up for that.

Hello! I’ve read your work and fallen in love! I don’t know if your requests are open, but I really like the Armin x you x Levi post you wrote🥰 may I please request a smut of this? Thank you!
First of all thank you! I'm so glad you're in love with my work. 😊 Second of all I'm sorry this took a while I got sick and writing smut while being sick is honestly disgusting. Plus I recently fell in love with Saiki K and have been binge watching it . 🤭 N e ways! Hope you enjoy this.
Warnings: Polyamory, threesome, Nsfw content.
Ok you'll be honest with yourself four years ago you didn't expect to be as happy as you are now.
After you'd grown sick of your living arrangement with your parents. You'd left that life behind. Moving into the small empty bedroom your best friend since your last year of middle school had open in his surprisingly tiny apartment.
And when you said tiny. You meant tiny.
Some rooms in the apartment weren't even big enough for someone to stand in with their arms outstretched. Not to mention a couple of your nights were spent huddled next to Armin on the couch with a huge blanket around your bodies because the heat randomly shut off.
You'd think a situation like that would be worse. But weirdly enough it had been the best for both of you as your relationship had always had a sort of looming sexual tension that went unexplored.
Long lingering touches to your waist got just a little bit longer while trying to squeeze past you in the bathroom. "Sorry I just need my brush." Armin would whisper. Warm palm against your hip. The ghost of his pelvic bone so close yet so far away. Just the realization making you arch in his grasp. You'd hold his gaze and in the back of your mind you could watch the soft slither of his tongue as it wet his gorgeous pink lips so many times over.
Of course it escalated with neither of you ever saying a word about your feelings. You spraying water from the sink on a shirtless Armin during a heat wave that just wouldn't let up as he walked into the kitchen wearing only grey sweatpants. (Yup.. only sweatpants.) The way they hung so low on his hips practically begging for your tongue to stretch across the expanse of his pelvis.
Him hugging you tight around the waist for literally any reason he could think of. (And he found a new reason everyday.)
And then it escalated a little further.. you pulling back the shower curtain to "complain" about him eating your leftovers. Him pulling you into his lap while the two of you watched tv.
And one day it just ended. And by ended it meant you two opened a bottle of wine on New Years and the ball wasn't the only thing that dropped. He had you laying ass up, legs spread and pussy sobbing as he rocked your hips for eight fucking hours with no stop. Did that table break? During hour five but Armin managed.
And then you guys moved. After a mutual agreement that the two of you were aware of each other's feelings and wanted to be together. You'd both managed to pool enough money together to afford a bigger place with two bedrooms. One unused and one that was immediately broken in with Armin over stimulating you the second the boxes were halfway unpacked.
Fast forward to a man named Levi moving in across the hall, him developing feelings for you over a long period of seeing you daily thanks to his best friend absolutely adoring you and constantly inviting herself into you and Armin's home.
After a while you'd started picking up on the signs of his affection too. His long glances that sometimes didn't even break when you looked back at him. The little gifts that began to show up at your door. The way he'd bring over food when he knew Armin wasn't home.
Once you'd started to develop feelings too Armin allowed you a night. One night to see if those feelings were actually real and what they might mean. Cue a night of carriage rides, roses (lots and lots of roses), stargazing and a kiss that damn near floored you and it was more than one night.
Two nights and Levi had had you on his couch with him snuggled in what would soon become your favorite blanket. Three nights and Levi had you eating his mom's homemade spaghetti. And by a week you were begging for Levi to fuck you harder, fingers shaking on his white tiled kitchen floor. His relentless thrusts still causing your thighs to tremble hours after.
He looked so lost in bliss in a way you'd never seen him before and you hugged onto him so tight you didn't even go back to Armin that night. Just curled up under your favorite blanket on his couch with his cock nestled deep inside you. His kisses littering your face till the moment you fell asleep.
It was definitely a cause for fear. An unrelenting kind and you sat down on the couch with Armin the next day explaining how deeply you loved them both. Only to be shocked when he brought up the topic of polyamory. It definitely shocked you a ton when Armin agreed to it after some explanation of his own feelings but the real surprise was Levi explaining how he'd also thought about it and would be up for it.
And thus began the beautiful bloom of a poly relationship after him and Armin had gotten better acquainted. You know after you guys all moved because Levi hated living in the apartment.
The three of you left to live in a gorgeous house. (For once you were living in a place with more than one floor and an island in the kitchen.) A place you'd been calling home for over a year now.
~~~~
Your breath hitched soft moans stuttering off your lips. You don't even remember who started it but here you and Armin were, his breath tickling every bit of your face with sweet languid kisses. One hand brushing over every curve you possessed while the other was softly brushing in between your pussy lips.
Your body perched in his lap as he sat against the headboard. Pillows scattered around the two of you as you writhe and begged for more of his touch.
You were probably drawing blood where you were grasping his shoulders but you couldn't even begin to think about it. Armin's warm breath tickling your lips in a soft chuckle. The tips of his fingers softly caressing your clit as you let out little whimpers of pleasure.
"You promise you'll moan nice and loud for daddy's fingers?" He asked, closing the distance between your lips with a much slower kiss.
"Yes." You could feel his nail brush inside and you almost buried his fingers but his harsh grip on your ass paused your movements. Your thighs shook and you rubbed your forehead against his. Leaned into his broad chest with both hands. "Please daddy.."
"Good girl."
With one more small kiss he laid you out flat on the bed free hand coming up to squeeze your areola. With a tap of your outer thigh you spread for him watching the way his spit dribbled off his lips and directly onto your already wet hole. The mixture making a much wetter sound as he pumped two fingers fully inside.
With a gasp you yanked the sheets hard, almost squeezing your thighs together. His fingers curling, snatching your breath away. The bed creaked a little as he repositioned himself, stomach flat against the sheets with his mouth on your thighs. Spreading a soft array of little open mouthed kisses.
"A-Armin.."
"Keep your ankles in the air, love. I don't wanna punish you tonight." He breathed
You sucked in a breath, reaching out to hold your ankles. Almost immediately you felt embarrassed by the high pitched moan that fell off your lips at the first long slide of his flat tongue over your pussy lips.
And then right in between them in a beckoning motion over your clit that had you biting into your lip. The smile on his lips so evident over your core.
You lifted your head in time to watch the slow drip of more of his saliva stretch between your clit and his bottom lip. Tongue immediately outstretched with eyes drawn to your features as he lapped it back up again.
With his free hand he spread apart your pussy lips a little further giving your clit an almost harsh knead with his thumb. The friction making you cry out and almost drop your legs onto his back.
His fingers carefully slipped out of you to your own dismay. The slow drag against your walls almost painful, that is until his tongue was sliding in to replace them. Giving your inner walls a massage that made your gaze fall white.
You felt him hum. Sweet vibrations flowing through your cunt as he slurped down every bit of your juices. His arms snaking around your legs to yank you so much closer as he pushed his tongue impossibly deeper.
"Daddy.." You begged
"Shh, keep moaning for me baby.." He hummed, flicking your clit with his thumb.
You obeyed with an arch that probably could've launched you off the bed if not for Armin's tight hold. Your eyes squeezed shut, brain going completely empty.
"Such a good girl." He breathed "So good for daddy."
The pad of his tongue stretched over both sides of your lips with little nibbles. Sucking the skin into his mouth roughly. You could feel his eyes on you, practically see those bright blues pop with lust as he pressed his tongue back inside with languid thrusts.
Your heartbeat pounded in your ear and you felt the hold he had on your legs loosen. His two fingers delving and sliding back into your warm fluttering cunt. The overwhelming pleasure forcing your hands back on the bed holding out for dear life.
"Daddy.. daddy please.." You cried
"Getting close baby?" When you nodded vigorously he smirked. "Come on baby almost there." He hummed
He sped up his tongue, fingers stretching you open quickly adding another. Your breath caught with a high pitched cry that left tears flowing over your cheeks. An endless chorus of his name flooding off your lips. His own moans sending vibrations through your core.
Your stomach tightened, toes curling in the air as you tried and failed to steady your breathing. One of your hands unfurled itself from the sheets now sticking to your sweat soaked body. Carding it in the beautiful blond locks between your legs.
"Baby.. baby I'm about to-" He sucked your clit into his mouth and your eyes went hazy, head falling back.
"Finish baby, come on.." He whispered
Your lips spewed curse words between every breath lost. When his fingers tapped smoothly against your g-spot you knew that was it for you. And with one last shudder you came around his fingers, screaming his name as your orgasm racked over you in a loud burst.
And he licked up every drop, nose buried to collect it all like it was the best thing he'd ever tasted.
"A-Armin.." You shuddered body flush and hazy.
His fingers feel wet, a combination of your pussy juices and the sweat between both your bodies. You slowly blinked in the darkness combing strands of his hair back as your lips made contact. The mixture of your taste and his on your tongue, in an almost overwhelming way.
You tensed under him. Hands stretching over every part of him you could reach only for him to back away a bit. With your nails still gently grazing over your back he pressed his damp forehead into yours, fingers sweeping over every bit of bare skin.
With barely any warning he hoisted you to your feet next to the edge of the bed. And you reached out for his shoulders as he slipped his boxers down his legs. Inching himself back up to the headboard.
"Take a seat." He gestures, laying back.
He's got a hand around your waist in seconds. His cock soon just below you, so so close to where you wanted it. Where you needed it so badly.
Your knees came down on both sides of him, carefully administering your weight evenly until every inch of his hot cock was stretching you open. His tip soon resting firmly against your cervix like it always did and you both relinquished a sweet gasp.
"F-fuck.. so full.." You huffed
It felt like it had been so long when in reality it'd probably only been a week. And yet you were moaning like you'd been starved of him. Rocking your hips like he'd punished you with no cock for months.
Suddenly his arm wrapped itself around your waist again. He hoisted you up with a strong hold moaning directly in your ear as he thrusted up into you like it was the first time. His knees pressing your thighs open.
A hiss falling off your lips as he kissed over your shoulder and collar. Hands squeezing both your breasts like they were his personal stress balls.
You hadn't been aware of how hard Armin was going until the rough knocks of the bed hitting the walls finally began to settle in your ear. But you could barely care Armin's cock was hitting every spot inside of you and your leg was starting to twitch where it was forced outward.
His breath grew more ragged with every thrust. Sweat dripping off your forehead onto his. His sweet murmurs of praise turning you on even harder.
"Love, you take me so well.. You're doing so amazing…." He moaned
You leaned your head into him, feeling that sweet familiarity deep in the pit of your stomach. You reached around to the back of his head, yanking a little rougher than intended on his scalp.
The uneven slaps of your skin meeting managed to keep the two of you distracted until the sound of the door practically slamming into the wall shook you both to a halt.
Levi's dry sigh filled the once noisy bedroom. "Do you two have to make so much noise? I'm busy with a work project."
Despite Levi's gripes Armin angled his cock back towards your g-spot barely grazing it but it was enough to force a little mewl from your lips.
He laughed, pulling you a little closer. "Mm sorry Levi. Didn't know we were being so loud."
There was a small glint in Levi's eyes. The quick dart of his pupils to where you and Armin were joined and then back up to your face putting a devious grin on your face.
"You should take a break, daddy." You said
"Tch." Levi huffed, "This thing needs to be done by tomorrow. I don't have time for this."
You reached out for him with one arm. An arm that unsurprisingly didn't even reach close to him from his stance near the bedroom door. By this point Armin's thrusts were going at almost the same pace as before. Not as rough but enough to resume the gentle rock of the bed.
You let out a soft moan as Levi took the bait, slowly walking over to the bed. His finger carding affectionately through your tousled hair. He leaned in, pecking your kiss swollen lips.
If there was anything you knew for a fact about Levi it was that he always had a hard time saying no to you.
To be completely honest it didn't surprise you that Levi was already more than a little hard. Though it did surprise you how easily he gave in today. Watching with unchanged expression as you pulled his belt from the loops and buckle, undoing it with a light clatter which quickly followed the almost inaudible sound of his zipper being pulled down..
You let out a relaxed hum, lip pressed between your teeth at the sight before you. His thick cock poking out over the hem of his underwear. You grasped at the sheets with one hand a little shaky as you slipped his boxers down over his ass until they pooled at his ankles.
Armin slipped his hand under you right up against your stomach. Levi immediately followed suit already knowing what he was doing. He stepped over to the edge of the bed as Armin laid you down on your stomach. Levi's wet tip dangling in front of your lips. Before you could even register it Armin had your hips in the air slipping all the way back inside with a loud gasp.
Meanwhile you were wetting your lips. Hand curving up and down the length of his dick. You inched forward on your elbows to slowly surround Levi's dick in the warm confines of your mouth. The hiss he let out sending shivers over your spine.
"How's it feel? I know how much you love taking two dicks." Levi grunted
Armin reached forward, tugging your hips in close with one hand. The other hand on your ass as leverage. Allowing him to ease out to his tip before slamming back inside. Your eyes rolling back with pleasure.
As if it wasn't already difficult enough to take Levi he wasn't even fully hard yet. Just expanding in your mouth as you coaxed your throat into relaxing enough to slide every thick inch down.
"I know that pretty mouth can do so much better than this." He reaches out with zero warning to grab a fist full of your hair. Yanking you forward with barely any restraint.
Though you must admit the sound that leaves his throat when he does is almost worth the tears pricking over your hollowed cheeks.
"Baby I'm so fucking close.. I'm gonna fill your pussy." Armin sighs, his hand comes down to wrap around the base of your throat angling your mouth into Levi's rough thrusts.
Your heart is hammering but you close your mouth as best as possible without biting to take Levi's cock. Already feeling the effects on your jaw as he presses in a little harder with a deep moan.
By now his cock is fully hard rocking you back into Armin with deep rough thrusts that almost make you gag.
"That's my g-irl.." Levi grunts, even though they're small his nails dig into your scalp so roughly you could swear you felt something trickling down to the back of your neck.
You grip the bed sheets with both your toes and fingers, the creaking around you unmistakable.
"I'm cumming.. I'm cumming!" Armin cries out and you'd honestly give anything to see his gorgeous blue eyes roll back and the little smile that curves against his lips as he climaxes.
You finish just a couple seconds ahead of him. Eyes unfocused where they roll into shut. Little sounds muffled by the thick dick stretching open your throat. The feeling of Armin's cum flooding your walls makes you whimper and he lets out the softest moan as his orgasm slowly whittles away.
Your gaze soon fixes on Levi only to be met with the prettiest tint of pink brushed right up against his cheeks. His eyes pressed tightly closed, lips parted over every harsh breath.
It didn't take long for the sweet drag of Armin's cock to begin again. His light touches to your spine making you arch a little higher.
"You look so fucking pretty, you know that?" Armin mummered, cock slamming into your g-spot. "Doesn't she look gorgeous, Levi?" He asked with a little whimper.
Levi's eyes fluttered open a hint of a smirk cresting on his lips. "Like she's gonna.. pass out.." He combed your hair back again gripping it a little tighter forcing your head up. He paused at the back of your throat. "Can't take it baby? Want me to pull out?"
You grunted at every slam of Levi's dick until that all too familiar sound flooded your ears, followed by almost every curse in the english language.
"You're doing so well.. f-uck.." He moaned "Swallow my cum.. swallow it. I'm almost there.."
Levi hoisted his leg up against the already shaky foot of the bed using as much leverage as possible. His fingers tugging your head forward on every pump of his thick cock. Mixing with the loud gasps of Armin behind you as he also neared his end.
And with one more deep thrust Levi was spilling down your throat with a choked groan. Cock head nestled deep in your tired throat holding you still as his orgasm flooded from his body.
You were a little relieved when he stepped back allowing your jaw to relax. The still wet tip pressing sweetly against your lips.
"Such a pretty girl.." He said, so low you thought you imagined it.
"Switch with me." You heard Armin say
You sighed as his cock left you, feeling yourself immediately being flipped onto your back. His large hands coming down from where he now stood over you to perfectly envelop your breasts. Meanwhile Levi was pulling your hips close and sliding in as effortlessly as he always did.
"Levi!" You threw your head back
Armin smirked over you, his hands kneading a little rougher. You arched into his touch pressing the balls of your heels into Levi's back, pushing him just a little deeper-
God it was perfect. The feeling of his dick so much different from Armin's but honestly just as perfect. The moan you let out was downright pornographic and you pressed your head back into Armin's thigh.
One of Armin's hands came up to your face brushing aside your hair soaked in tears. "You look perfect. But I wanna make you more perfect."
He pulled himself off the bed, sliding a hand over your cheek. "I wanna paint your face baby. It's so perfect.." He mumbled already pumping his long dick over your face. "You'll let me right.." He whimpered
When he leaned in again it was to press a little kiss to your lips. "P-please.."
The curve of his lips made your heart flutter in your chest. "Mm.. let Levi see when I'm finished."
One of Armin's hands sat rather aggressively on the edge of the bed. And you could see the way every vein in his hand moved. Grip tightening a little with every pump of his cock, back and forth his knuckles practically ripping through his skin.
You gasped as Levi leaned over you, fat cock pressing into your G-spot. "Stop ignoring me." He grunted
He slid his teeth beneath your earlobe administering a barrage of sweet nibbles mixed with more aggravated bites.
"Levi.. Levi!!"
Armin gasped above you, "Almost there.." He moaned
A bright white was starting to take over your vision as you shut your eyes, mouth hung open for Armin's cock with absolutely no sound coming out as Levi continued to use your tired pussy.
Small huffs of fuck littering the air. You bore your nails into Levi's back and chest. His leg shaking against you as he pushed through his last thrusts.
"I-I'm.. I- shit!" Armin came first, missing Levi's head by a hair (literally) as ropes of hot cum plopped onto your face, you barely registering it as your own orgasm hit you like a two ton truck. Levi's thumb coaxing small spasms from you through your clit.
Levi huffed, face scrunched, lip bitten and eyes shut as he came for the second time with a hard gasp.
The room went quiet for what couldn't have been any longer than 2 minutes before Armin was pulling himself up from where he'd slumped over the bed.
"Levi, look how sexy she looks with my cum all over her face." He cooed
It stuck to your eyelids as you blinked though ultimately chose to keep your eyes shut. You felt Levi's small chuckle and the brief feeling of him slipping out of you to your own disappointment.
"Open baby." Armin said
As soon as you did his fingers slipped into your mouth. The salty/sweet residue of his cum littering your tongue. Quickly joined by Levi who swiped his thumb across your eyelids before pressing it into your mouth.
"How're you feeling?" Armin asked as you opened your eyes slowly.
You blinked in their faces standing above you with a small smile. "Tired."
"You can't sleep until you've washed off. It'll be better for you anyway." Levi replied, heading into the bathroom.
Armin quickly followed after carefully lifting your fatigued body off the bed. It took a couple minutes for Levi to get the temperature to perfect but once he did you slowly felt yourself sinking into perfectly warm water.
The soreness in every part of your body already beginning to dissipate as you leaned back against the edge of the tub.
"We did a number on you hmm?" Armin asked, carding your hair back.
"I'll make you some tea once you're cleaned up. Then we can cuddle under your favorite blanket." Levi said
"Thank you guys but I feel like I could fall asleep here." You say lifting your thighs for Levi to clean under.
"I promise I'll pay you back big time tomorrow." Armin replied, rubbing your arm with soap.
Your lips curled up deviously, "Now that I look forward to." You grab his chin pulling him into you, pecking his lips.
Black/fem reader x Everyone “The Do-Over”
Reader is a huge Blerd (black nerd) that gets transported to Attack on Titan universe in the year 843. She “luckily” was coming home from vacation. Fell asleep on the plane and woke up outside the walls (with her bags to make life easier for y/n) Now reader is curvy and has a fat ass (I DO make the rules). This, plus her darker skin and fluffy hair, drives everyone crazy. Erwin, Levi, Miche, and Hange are all very close. Rumors go around about them fucking all the time. But no one could prove it. You didn’t even know if they liked each other. You could only guess. But Erwin is always so interested in talking with you. Clumsy man seems to always drop something on the floor for you to bend over and reach. Hange squeals everytime she sees you and is NOT shy about flirting with you. You’re so pretty and she genuinely is curious about you. She ends up brushing her hands in weird places but that’s just her being extra excited. Levi is canonically a virgin so you wouldn’t want to make him uncomfortable with your cleavage and fat thighs when it was hot and you had to train. But it seemed okay because everytime you looked his way, his eyes would travel up from your ass to your eyes and stay there. Miche was the most obvious. He liked to flirt and joke about what your babies would look like. How those kind of hips are rare and he would love to help you with extra training. He would sniff you often. Commenting on how your hair smelled so soothing. You catch the other three vets staring daggers at him if they happen to catch his flirting.
One day you overhear a conversation happening in the commander's office. Eavesdropping isn’t very nice.
Miche: good GOD I can’t take much more of this..
Levi: Are you some teenage idiot who can’t keep it in his pants? Y/n has probably had enough of the fucking flirting! You’re her superior! Act. Like. It.
Hange: Now WAIT A MINUTE! I know for a fact you’ve been beating off to her in the showers!
Levi: And just how THE HELL would you know that?
Erwin: Okay. Okay. Let’s not beat around the bush, y/n is very…ahem… attractive. But we can’t just all gang up on her with our feelings.
Miche: Why not?
Hange/Levi/Erwin: WHAT THE FUCK?!/ Hah?!EXCUSE ME!
Miche: whoa whoa whoa! I didn’t mean FORCE HER! I meant what if we all approached her in our own way and try to actually build bonds with her. She will feel left out if only one of us showed interest and the rest of us just ignore her trying to be nice. Besides, I don’t really want anyone else to have a chance to steal her. If we can learn to share we might be able to make this work.
Erwin: That is incredibly-
Before your commander could even finish his sentence you dropped your papers you were holding close to your chest as you leaned your ear to the door to listen. Up until that moment you had very sinful thoughts about most of the scouts. Muscles + being in an unfamiliar place with no one to relate to or really even looks like you = sad(horny) and desperately seeking an excuse to act out. It was juvenile, you knew. But you had been transported to an ENTIRELY fictional world where you knew everything about everyone and you were the ONLY brown skinned person in the walls! You had been stuck out in the wilderness when you were caught by none other than the Commander himself.
~Flashback~
You both stared at each other for what felt like hours. Him: looking at a woman with features he’s NEVER seen before. A person that only exists in the past and in his fathers stories about the world. You: completely stunned by the fact that one second you were at the airport on your way home from vacation, and now you are staring at a man (that you have definitely read questionable fanfiction of) staring at you. That would just be too good of a cosplay to have a giant naked man also running behind him to catch up to you two. Then you snapped out of it and called him by his name.
Y/n: ERWIN MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!
You were running towards him before you even registered what was happening. You ran to his horse's backside and stood at a decent distance before you smacked its ass and it ran like hell. Erwin seemed to be in a trace as his eyes followed your frame but his hearing stopped working. When his horse suddenly lurched forward he was nearly thrown off but had enough sense to right himself before turning to look back at you trying to run the titan in a different direction. What the fuck are you doing?
Y/n: oh fuck! I’m gonna die! I can’t believe this! I hope Erwin is okay! God if you’re there I need some fucking help!
God answered your prayers that day.
As if on cue (like it’s a tv show or something) the titan suddenly is struck from it’s nape and falls a few fucking feet from you!!! You didn’t even have to look up to know that it was Levi who came to the rescue. Not that you could, you were currently hyperventilating, sweating, and swearing.
Levi: hey! HEY! Look at me! Can you tell me your name? How did you get out here? Are you alone?
You had enough sense (and therapy) to try and focus on his words.
Y/n: my name is y/n. I don’t know. And I don’t know. I just woke up here.
Levi: outside the walls?
Y//n: looks like it.
Erwin finally speaks up after watching Levi save you then listening to Levi question you.
Erwin: How is that possible? There’s no one living beyond the walls and someone as unique as you would’ve been hard to miss inside the walls.
You look at Erwin and you can’t control the deviated look on your face. Both of them catch it but they don’t know what it means. You are crashing now from the rush of life saving adrenaline. You need to be quick and concise here and get your point across.
Y/n: I am not from this world. But everything you know about the Titans and this world has been a lie. *you look to Erwin and stare into his eyes* Your father was right, Erwin. And because he was so close to the truth the MPs killed him. And he WAS very close. I know the truth the king is hiding from you all and I want to make this right.
Erwin and Levi are stunned. The truth of everything?! Dropped seemingly from the sky!? This must be a trap! But Erwin's father being mentioned was entirely too specific.
Erwin: How do you know my father if you aren’t from this world? How do we know you aren’t a mad woman dressed so strangely and speaking in a dialect I can’t quite grasp. Even if you aren’t mad, how could we possibly know you are telling the truth.
You think for a moment then look to Levi
Y/n: Your name is Levi Ackerman. You were born from Kuschel Ackerman, who was a prostitute, so your father is unknown. She died while you were still young and you were raised by a man named Kenny. He taught you how to fight with a knife and then left you when you could defend yourself. You and you friends, Isa-
Levi: ENOUGH!
You flinch away but you understand. You just told a lot of his personal business right next to Erwin and you’re almost sure he didn’t know all of that. But accuracy was key here. You couldn’t be lying or crazy to recount his life in such detail. He and Erwin were stunned.
Erwin: I think it’s best if you come with us.
Y/n: please. I promise I just want to help humanity.
Levi: tch by spilling everyone’s personal information?
Y/n: no. Because I know everything that happens concerning the titans, humanity, and survey corps for the next 2000 years. And in the next five years, if we don’t change the future, humanity and the earth itself will be 80% decimated. The ground will be uninhabitable for hundreds of years. And even when humanity somehow survives. The land you all currently occupy. Your cultures. Your literature. Your pasts, presents, and futures will be completely eradicated by the outside world in the next 2000 years. Please believe me. I DON'T want this to happen and I’m sure you don’t either. What’s more, I can prove it.
Erwin: Show me.
Chapter end
Please leave comments and criticisms. I am just starting out writing fanfics and I want to make sure I’m doing something right lmao.
